What are fictives? I was going to ask about protectors and self-destroyers but I'm guessing those are self explanatory.

Fictives are alters that have “imprinted” off of a fictional character, or at least that’s how I understand it. They’re quite common.

There’s a few in our system.- Joseph (Nagisa Hazuki, 50% Off).- Monika (Doki Doki Literature Club).- Jeanette (Alvin and the Chipmunks, the 80’s and 90’s series).- Starr? We’re not sure if she’s fictive or kin. (Junko Enoshima, Danganronpa).

And yeah, those labels are pretty self explanatory.

Hey, so we're a new system and I wanted to ask if it's normal that one of us fronts more than the others. We're three but I'm almost out the whole time; the other one only if I'm in big trouble and the third one is just quiet most of the time. I feel like I'm faking it if I'm the one front almost all the time.

Hello anon (aaa sorry if we've answered late.).That's actually pretty normal. Ours is kinda like that too (I'm usually the one fronting, being in danger, real or imagined, is definitely a trigger for a switch and some of us go a bit dormant for a while.)- Luke.
