hi, for the sake of pure curiosity and absolute need to acquire it, how did u happen to get ur harvs fence ? i rly want it and the tiny stools but idk even how to try to get them ugh
hi! i got my own stack of harv’s fencing through ebay (bc i’m shameless, was also overcome with the need to acquire it, and it was only like $4 lmao) from a seller who dropped off the fences as well as other harv’s island items + the tiny stools. if you don’t want to spend $$, there’s a lot of people on ac twitter who do giveaways for those items or for free treasure island trips! also @lazyislander is lovely enough to do a giveaway for harv’s fencing which you can find here :-)

Due to the wildfires in my home state and just the general shittiness of our country, I’ve been feeling like I need to get more involved with the election process. More specifically attempting to vote for and get others to vote for more environmentally focused candidates. Because honestly, if we don’t have a livable planet with clean air and water and a healthy natural ecosystem, does anything else really matter? Like it’s hard to focus on other things when most of the west coast is on fire, ya know? So, anyways, I decided to compile a list of links for ways to get voter info and also volunteer to write letters and do text and phone banking for various organizations to encourage voters to make environmentally driven choices. I know lots of us are super discouraged by our options this election, but I feel like any small effort or step in the right direction is better than nothing right now.
send postcards through The Sunrise Movement to young people in swing states with info on voting
Send letters to help increase voter turn out
Vote for the climate — virtual call banks and text banks through Greenpeace
Letter writing, text banking and phone banking through Sierra Club (they also have a link to endorsed candidates)
ACLU voter info — enter your state and see important election dates, as well as links to voter registration.
Patagonia has a senate races to watch section with recommended environmental focused candidates. There’s also a link to request a mail-in ballot.
#SO IMPORTANT#im in california and have felt paralyzed by all the things going on#these resources are doable for anyone to do!!#at this point there’s no excuse#!!!!
