my daily makeup routine 💁🏻‍♀️

Being an interning student, I always try my best to look and be professional at work. I work from 8.30am until 5pm but my makeup has never once looked oily or cakey ever since I changed my daily makeup routine 😌 Asides from that, my skin is NOT smooth. I have a lot of acne scars but this makeup routine that I have makes it as seem these scars don't exist at all.

Below, I'm going to list out the products that I use daily as well as my makeup routine steps 🎀

maybelline fit me concealer in shade 10

maybelline fit me concealer in shade 08

skintific cushion in shade 03 petal

sheglam colour bloom liquid blush in shade cutie pie

nyx HD finishing powder in shade banana

peripera All Take Mood Like Palette in shade #2 peach heaven

black tubing mascara (brand has just rubbed off from the packaging 😔)

kiko milano 3d hydra lipgloss in shade 021 brun rose

cosrx advanced snail 92 all in one cream

(bare in mind that I have a light to medium skin tone so these shades probably doesn't suit with all skin types.

these products are also products that fits with my skin type and doesn't break me out but if it does cause you break out, please stop using that product 🙏🏻🩷)

Steps:

Firstly, I would wear any moisturise my face with cosrx advanced snail 92 all in one cream. But any moisturiser that fits with your skin would do. As long as your face is hydrated, thats all that matters.

Then, I spray a layers of my elf stay all night micro-fine setting mist. I use this as my primer so my makeup can stick to my face all day.

I apply my maybelline fit me concealer in shade 10 to all my acne scars to cover them up. Then, I use my maybelline fit me concealer in shade 08 for my under eyes. I blend these concealers using a small beauty blender so it is easier (well for me in that case).

I use my skintific cushion in shade 03 petal for my whole face. I love this cushion so much and the coverage for this is medium to full coverage. It depends on how many layers you apply but for me, one layer is enough.

I move onto using my sheglam colour bloom liquid blush in shade cutie pie. I apply 1 dot on the apple of my cheeks and 2 more on my cheek bones. I blend out my blush following the structure of my face. I also apply a dot of the blush on my nose to give it a more rosey look.

I use my nyx HD finishing powder in shade banana on my t-zone as well as the places where my face creases (such as my smile line, my eyelids).

Next, I use my peripera All Take Mood Like Palette in shade #2 peach heaven and use the shade named 'emotion' for my eyes. I don't use too much eyeshadow on my eyes. I use just enough so there's at least some colours to my eyes.

Eyeliner is optional but I go immediately straight to using mascara. I would use my mascara curler first before applying black tubing mascara. Any mascara that you like is okay as long as that mascara doesn't smudge easily.

Lip liner is also optional but I would immediately go straight to my kiko milano 3d hydra lipgloss in shade 021 brun rose. This shade to me is very natural and doesn't pop out too much.

I spray another layer of elf stay all night micro-fine setting mist to lock my makeup in place.

For the contour of my face, I don't really use any unless I'm going out with friend/families or I have an event to go to. For work, I would just depend on the natural shadows of my face for contour.

boring life of an interning student

So basically, I am currently an architecture student doing my internship at an architectural firm. I've been interning at this firm for almost 2 months now and I'm not sure on what I've learnt so far these past 2 months lmao. I also never had the chance to pick an architectural firm of my choice because I forgot to (100% my fault lol) so my lecturer decided to put me at 'xxx' firm (not saying the firm name for privacy matters).

And since my lecturer told me where I would be interning literally the day before my 1st day of being an intern, I didn't have time to do my research on 'xxx' firm because I literally just came back from a road trip holiday and was too drained from the new years celebration I had with my family.

I also did some digging around from my seniors that previously interned at 'xxx' firm and found out that the first few months of their internship programme, they basically did nothing LMFAOOO. The reason for that was because this firm I'm interning at is one of the prominent firms in my country and they have so many big and major projects AND meetings AND deadlines to meet that they don't have the time to give any tasks to me and my intern partner. not that I mind tho.

I've already lost my passion in learning architecture and after this semester, I'll be doing my final year project. I don't plan on pursuing architecture any longer after this and my dreams for my future lie else where.

So my name is ########### but you can just call me dee. I am currently 19 years old (05' liner) and I'm also a college student.
