hey y'all! I'm finally getting around to posting this worf collage. I suggest clicking the images for better quality and a look at all the details!

this is the biggest star trek collage I've ever made! it's on a 24x36 inch wood panel that was expensive as hell, lol. for the biggest image I used a vintage giant poster magazine! everything was hand-cut and it's all sealed with satin finish varnish. the other materials I used were gel pens and acrylic paint. as far as my tools go, I used sponges, brushes, a squeegee, a brayer, and I cut out my own stencils using a thin vinyl sheet!

I was going for a look that really emphasized that I was using clippings/pages/posters from magazines! usually I carefully cut everything out but I wanted to include some whole pages I just tore out as well. the klingon text that I included says qapla'! I have more of these magazines so I'm planning to do more in this style.

this is for sale! considering everything that went into this, I will be asking for $550. I'll have to calculate shipping if you're interested! if you'd like a commission this size then it will be around the same cost. check out my pinned post for more information on commissions and contacting me!

Just got back from the cruise 8. This is the haul of autographs.

My and the roomie definitely caught some kind of a bug, but it was a great cruise.

The large piece we made to decorate the door, but we didn't add enough magnets, so it kept sliding to the bottom.

I was going thru some of my magazines and found this neopets one that had a section with some of the faeries! I was immediately inspired to make some cute little 4x4 inch magnets with them! I'm a little in love with these tbh...

the 4x4 inch base is a wood panel that's 3/8ths of an inch thick. they have four strong magnets on the back that were glued on with epoxy glue! they're sealed with satin finish varnish.

if you want them then they're $35 each OR $30 each if you buy the whole set. I reeeeally hope some one gets them as a full set!! you can check my pinned post for info on contacting me.

this is another set of collages I made for a friend recently. I’m really excited about how these turned out!

they’re on 8”x8” and 8”x10” cradled wood panels that I painted a bright teal. I used some acrylic paint to give them a messier and distressed look! they’re sealed with satin finish varnish.

hey y’all!

this year I got my younger friend that had never even heard of flavor flav super into the flavor of love extended universe lol. we in particular love tiffany pollard (new york) so I thought it would be fun to make them a little set of her for their christmas present.

it’s really hard to find anything from the show that’s not super low resolution! I had to do a little editing on my computer to make what I found a little more usable.

they’re on 8”x8” and 8”x10” cradled wood panels that I painted a bright teal. I used some acrylic paint to give them a messier and distressed look! they’re sealed with satin finish varnish.

this Q collage is on a 12x16 inch cradled wood panel that’s ready to hang up! it’s varnished front and back with a satin finish.

I used a poster from a 90’s star trek magazine and some prints of screencaps. the other stuff I used was acrylic paint/medium and gel pens. I’ve been asked about this recently so: everything is sealed, cut out, pasted down, painted, and drawn on by my hands! 🤗

here's my favorite spocks from 2014!

I've been making star trek collages for over ten years now and I'd like to get some old favorites up on this blog. I'm gonna start doing some throwback photosets every once in a while! I'm starting us off with 2014 but I might jump around some.

the first column are all 16x20s and the second are 8x10s. my style and skills have evolved but for the most part I use the same materials I always have! the 16x20 spocks came from posters and I printed the 8x10s. I used scrapbook paper and water-based varnish. some have a little glitter! it will be obvious as I post more throwbacks that I get stuck on certain photos!

in 2021 I made this right here!! recently, I bought the same poster again. I really wanted to do something similar but with a fresh take now that my style has evolved and I've gained some new skills. I was going for a transporter accident feel this time!!

it's on a 16x20 inch cradled wood panel. the poster is a fold-out from a vintage st: tng magazine, the illustration of data is from an old star trek roleplaying book I found, and the transporter room label is from a star trek sticker book! my other materials were water-based satin finish varnish, acrylic paints, acrylic medium as an adhesive, gel pens, scrapbook paper, and a poster from a vintage TNG magazine. my tools used were a rubber brayer, some brushes, and a squeegee!

I have many sizes and panel options! below I have information on each type of panel and the estimated prices for each. the final cost will depend on the materials I need to use for your commission, complexity, and shipping costs. all sizes listed are in inches!

cradled wood panels:

8x10 - $80

the cradled wood panels I will use have a depth of 7/8ths of an inch. the sides/back can be painted black then varnished over or they can be varnished over without being painted. below are examples of the front and back of some unfinished 11x14 inch cradled wood panels!

flat panels:

4x4 - $40

these are hardboard panels that are 3/8ths of an inch thick. these panels have a notch in the back for hanging. the sides/back can be painted black then varnished over or be varnished over with no paint. for $5 I can add four magnets to the back! below is what the front and back of my unfinished 4x4 panels look like!

6x6 - $60

these are hardboard panels that are 1/4 of an inch thick. I can paint them black then varnish over them or varnish over them without paint. for $5 I can add four magnets to the back. here’s a big stack of unfinished 6x6 panels!

hi! here’s my most recent finished commission. it was my first time doing something for the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy and I had a lot of fun with it! please click the images for higher resolution since tumblr kills the quality.

they wanted something that took elements from different covers of the book. everything was hand-cut! it’s on a 10x10 inch cradled wood panel with a depth of 7/8ths of an inch. its been sealed with glossy varnish!

I have at least a couple of hundred star trek magazines mostly ranging from the 80's to the early 00's. you can request certain color schemes, styles, themes, ships, shows, or characters!

a lot of what you get is either from past projects and/or is pretty old! please allow for some light creasing on some things. the scrap papers will be in all sorts of sizes and shapes!

hi! here's a fun doctor who collage commission I finished the other day. they wanted the 13th doctor with some iconic looks from previous doctors!

it's on a 9x12 inch cradled wood panel. I painted the sides to match the turquoise in the vest pattern! you can't tell in these pictures (because it's so hard to photograph!) but there's a thick gloss varnish sealing the collage.
