If you want to lose weight FASt,use this post
The official 4n4 guide of 2025
- drink 500 ml of warm water before every meal
- cut your food into tiny bites (try cutting a cake into half, then cut that half into quarter,then cut the quarters,etc)
- drink at least 3 liters of warm water daily
- eat fiber! Forget protein and focus on fiber
- go on the treadmill either every day and burn 200-300 cals OR every other day and burn 400-500 calories
- do workouts you can STICK with! Not ones that burn the most calories
- I took this tip from a book (if you know you know lol which one) buy 2 scales, tamper with one to show you a fake weight (this tip is for if your parents are suspicious,pick a high weight like 55-60 kg if you’re like 40-45 kg ya know?)
- don’t purge! The only way to effectively get rid of all calories is to burn it all off
- always check your weight FIRST thing in the morning
- distract your self as much as you possibly can
- do omads
- follow diets like the ABC diet or the 5 bite diet
- read books focused on anaorezia for motivation
- put your legs on the wall after eating for about 15 minutes (you can read it go on TikTok or tumblr while waiting)
- choose your fruits WISELY! Avoid high calorie ones like banana(100) and mangoes (200) and focus on low calorie ones raspberry and blueberries (one calorie each)
- always cut your crust of bread ( I didn’t know this b it before I got an ed I always cut it and I realized it reduces cals by 40/50 percent!)
- try to have a type of workout ritual like maybe 100 jumping jacks right when you wake up or sit-ups
Let’s talk safe foods wannarexics
Raspberries,blueberries,oatmeal (made with water),teas, coffees(without milk and sugar),bread without crust,low calorie energy drinks,ice water or cold water,halo top,soups of all kinds really(just try to use 5-10 spoonfuls of it only),tuna fish,salmon,chicken breast or leg,popcorn,carrots,Diet Coke,yogurt,strawberries,watermelon,rice cakes,et. Anything low calorie,easy to make,higher in protein and fiber but lower in carbs and sugar!
So try to only eat these foods
Danger foods wannarexics!
Mangoes,fast food,ice creams like Ben and Jerry’s or non low calorie ice creams,non diet sodas,all fast food chains,Starbucks,cakes like carrot cake,chocolate,etc (all types),cupcakes,cookies,all types of chips,frostings or creams,pizza if not homemade,burgers if not homemade,pb and j sandwiches,cereal,protein bars,all types of chocolate,noodles if they are higher than 200/300 calories,waffles,biscuits,
Grey area foods wannarexics
These foods can be high calorie OR low calorie
Rice,pasta,macaroni,pancakes,fries,etc
How to avoid getting caught wannarexics!
-Try to eat in front of your family
It dialect need join have to eat a lot no just show people your are eating!
(If it helps try to schedule your meals AROUND the time you know your siblings or parents will be at the dinner table or kitchen)
- make food,learn how to bake because people assume that if you make food then obviously you age it! Plus if you have cravings you can smell and touch and look at the food but know how in control you are by not eating and actively making others eat it?? Total power move
How to avoid binging Wannarezics
Go on the 5 bite diet I promise you it made me lose 5-7 kg in one week! It works by shrinking your stomach! If you guys do it then your stomach is shrink so much that you will barely eat and then you can’t binge!!

✨Small reminder that you don't want to binge, but✨:
[A scattered brain-dump]
1) you are thirsty, our silly bodies get it confused with hunger but you might actually be dehydrated
2) you are bored, in this case eating is NOt a hobby so it won't make your boredom pass by eating
3) you're craving a food you like or have seen someone eat, in this case, you are very capable of:
-finding a lower calorie alternative that will fit into your caloric limit
-eating a bit of that food without wolfing down the whole plate (you have control and you just want to taste it and 2 bites at BEST will be more than enough i promise)
4) you're seeking comfort in food, although it might feel tempting and like a solution, it may only be a temporary fix that won't even fix the actual problem but just put a bandaid over it.
-If it makes you feel better, do eat your comfort food to help you feel safe and a bit content at the moment, but there is no need to over eat. You don't deserve to feel the pain of having a full stomach nor feel the guilt of having over-eaten. It will get better as things do with time so don't take your frustration out on food.
5) you're celebrating something or someone, in that case, if this disorder has not damaged your relationships yet please do try to enjoy it, you can pick up right where you started but you might miss out on hanging out with that(those) person(s). That doesn't mean you have to over-eat, you can share your food with them or hang out in a context that doesn't involve food (there are many things to do than go café hunting or eating out! Plus you'll save money).
And if you're celebrating (as holidays are also approaching), you are not celebrating food but an event so focus on that as a priority, and spending time with the people around you, still enjoy the food but there is no reason for you to over-eat on it.

The food will always be there tomorrow whatever you decide to do, you can still fit your favorite foods into your diet, you HAVE the ability to control how much you eat, believe in yourself because if you've read this far, i believe in you too! 💖]

how to not binge
first let’s understand why you’re binging…
you miss the food. you miss the flavor and you miss the freedom. that’s okay. restricting your diet is hard especially because you’ve had a taste for high cal foods and they taste great, i won’t lie. but i have been able to go about 2 months without binging, even though i miss the flavor.
my lw was at the beginning of the pandemic and i was eating like once every three days (because of my ocd). i got into recovery this year but i don’t think i was mentally ready for all the weight gain so i restarted my rexie journey about 2 months ago and i’ve lost a significant amount of weight (about 25 lbs)
now how to not binge!
actually enjoy your low cal meals. savor the flavor and really enjoy it. don’t eat them with the mindset of “this will make me skinny”, eat them with the mindset of “this is actually good food”. the more you start to look at these foods as delicious and tasty, the less you’ll want the high cal foods. look forward to the meals you cook. experiment with flavor and different textures. and remember it’s okay to miss that burger and that pizza, but there’s a whole world of different flavors you have yet to explore in low cal foods!
as i’m writing this, i’m having my breakfast: black coffee, a can of tuna with salt and pepper and some unsweetened applesauce. it might seem like bland food but i genuinely love the bitterness of the coffee and the sweetness from my saliva that follows after i’ve drank it, the savory and slightly spicy flavor of the tuna (i’ve always loved tuna since childhood so this one was pretty easy to like) and the applesauce, it’s like a treat and a fun little snack. i even consider it akin to candy, so i don’t feel the need to eat actually candy.
it’s a mindset to get into. just remember that you don’t have to suffer to be skinny, you can enjoy food while losing weight.

weight loss tip: just stop caring about food
ik it’s hard AF because all we do is think about food BUT if you trick your brain into believing you don’t care about it, it’s a lot easier to restrict since ur apetite goes away
how i do it:
- don’t plan my meals too much
- don’t think about what i’ll eat in the future
- all this is accomplished through gas lighting myself
- i pretty much just repeat to myself “i don’t really care” anytime i go to eat
- “not caring about something” means you don’t really want it, you don’t care if it’s there, you even prefer if it’s not because it’s just an annoying task
- the non planning thing makes choosing what i’ll eat overwhelming, so i just give up 💀
- i distract myself, i go do something else
- this works if you don’t care about health, macros and shit like that! you’ll probably not be getting a lot of nutrition, this is something a lot of junkorexics do
- this also works better if you have good knowledge about how many calories everything has, since ur not pre-planning

We need significantly more harm reduction posts/tips.
No, you shouldn't turn to purging, you shouldn't take laxatives you don't need, detox shit does nothing -that's the point of your liver and kidneys, if you feel like you are going to faint or your heart rate is too high please eat something and go to the ER if you need to, your brain is literally eating itself so try to eat 500cal worth of food or more to help that and anything below that is nearly useless, try to actually prevent a binge by eating what your body needs- not distracting yourself, pay attention to your nutritional needs, fiber, protein, minerals, and vitamins is very important and you should be eating it even if your not eating carbs (which you should still be eating but I understand if it's too scary to do so), yes, you are sick and shouldn't promote and worship your ED, it is not your friend.
The biggest part of having an ana buddie is having someone tell you when you SHOULD eat and not push you too far. Stay away from ana coaches.
Starving for a month or starving for years, regardless you have damaged your body in some way. Your bones, organs, immune system, will have permit repercussions even well into recovery. Especially if you relapse over and over too. The sooner you get better the less damage is risked.
There are so many ways of getting thin and not hating your body. If you even think you don't want to do this any more, please, please, please take your chance out.
If not as a community we should still take the time and effort to keep each other as safe as possible.
Please remember to be kind to yourself and others, everyone is already going through something.
