irradiatedwithgamma:
For a moment, Hulk stepped back when the ground lit up. However, at the sight of something to attack, he immediately went for it. As far as he knew, the man cowering behind these creatures was to blame for hurting him, trying to separate him from puny Banner. They all needed to be smashed.
Letting out another roar, he raised his fists and began attacking the demonic creatures attempting to protect Victor.
Victor could barely focus. He felt the wave of magic as each demon was attacked, he felt the pull from his own source of power so the demon could be re-conjured or fixed from the pile of sludge it had become after being pounded by the Hulk.
It was not a permanent solution, eventually his pool of energy would run out. Yanking his hand back from the seal, he shakily began drawing another in hopes to draw up a decent force-field for the Hulk to fight against as a back-up plan.

Victor’s eyes shot open at the loud shout ringing in his head. He slowly sat up, immediately regretting it as he felt like he was going to sick to his stomach. When Hulk’s eyes met his own, he cursed himself for making… whatever mistake it was he made. Even if it was just a malfunction that could not be helped – this was his only shot, as far as he was concerned.
When he tried to get up, he immediately fell back, too weak to even move. Which made the situation all the more dangerous. Scooting back against the broken concrete, he brought his good hand up and bit down on the skin between his index finger and his thumb, breaking the skin until blood started flowing. He wrote down a symbol on the ground and placed his hand against it firmly, muttering under his breath a smell. Several places on the ground lit up bright purple and slowly out of them, sludge-like creatures rose. Their bright red eyes fluttered to awareness and they surrounded Victor protectively.
“Do not let him near me,” he ordered the demons in a whisper.

irradiatedwithgamma:
Bruce closed his eyes and braced himself for what was to come. He had hoped all of his hard work, their hard work, would come to fruition and he would have succeeded. The sedatives numbed him enough, but a searing pain started to burn through his very core. He shouted in pain and his eyes flared a brilliant green color.
“No!” he shouted in a tone unlike his own as his body transformed. Muscles expanded and gain mass while his skin took on a sickly green color, completely different than the green shade he normally took on. Whatever went wrong made the Hulk madder than he had ever been before. Once he was fully transformed, he blew the door open on the chamber and let out a roar loud enough to make anyone’s ears ring if they were unfortunate enough to be in the vicinity.
Gritting his teeth and letting out a snort, he looked for the man who made him made before settling on Victor. Bloodshot eyes looked straight towards him and he raised a fist to bring down on the ground, shaking the room around them. “HULK SMASH!” he bellowed.

irradiatedwithgamma:
Bruce shook his head. “I would prefer the pants. I know they rip, but that gown would be completely shredded and…no one wants to face a stark naked Hulk.” he pointed out. He promptly removed the belt of his pants and put his wallet and phone away as well so they won’t be lost if he transformed.
Taking a deep breath, he stepped into the chamber as advised. “If it’s painful, I suppose that means it’s working.” he said hopefully.
Victor let out a low chuckle. “Of course.”
He got straight to work, opening the chamber and adjusting the power levels on the panel next to the door. Once the man was situated inside, he quickly strapped his arms and legs down. “One can only hope. I do hope the is not unbearable, though,” he said in mind concern.
Taking the several shots of sedatives, he administered each one into the man’s arm and then shut the door. Giving a knock, he gave Banner a brief smile before disappearing out of the view of the small window. The button was the easy part. The machine roared to life as soon as he hit it. The vents circulating at an alarming rate. Then came the difficult part.
He had been... somewhat honest with Banner, see. He did want to rid the Hulk or Banner and Banner of Hulk. But, not for the reasons he admitted. That raw power... if he had that in his army -- if he had that power within himself. He would be unstoppable. Latveria would expand country after country.
He removed his shirt and opened a small circular chamber on the vent he had been working on.
Slowly putting his arm into the hole, he barely flinched as the hot metal came into contact with his skin. Skin could be replaced. He began channeling what energy he had gathered over the past few weeks of building the machine just for this moment. The electricity began to flick as the machine reached it’s peak, the power levels rising to levels unimaginable by the average scientist.
Then, something went wrong. A calculation? One of the screws fell off? It could be anything. The machine began to smoke and when Victor pulled at his arm, the scorching metal clamped down and the vents shut off, causing him to scream in pain. His teeth gritted together and he pulled and pulled until his arm slowly began yanking out of the grip of the machine, sparks flying everywhere out of the machine, smoke setting off the fire alarms. By the time he recovered his arm, the entire thing was laced in the metal like substance that was his actual being.
If only that were the ending. Just before the electricity went out in the entire building -- in a major part of the city, the vent exploded, shooting him back across the room and right into the concrete wall, breaking it with the force easily. Debris flew everywhere and the building shook from the explosion.

irradiatedwithgamma:
Bruce took a look at the stuff all set up on the table as he directed Victor, everything was set up, right down to the adamantium needles he requested. “That’s exactly it.” he assured him as he took a needle to draw his own blood as promptly as possible to give to Victor without a second thought.
“You can administer the sedative, but I should be put in as soon as it takes effect.” he told him as he took off his glasses and unbuttoned his shirt.
Victor took the few tubes of blood and stored them away in a cooler underneath the table. “Of course. I set out a robe for you, if you would prefer,” Victor admitted as he gestured to the thin hospital gown that was folded neatly next to the sedatives.
“Why don’t you step inside the chamber and then I’ll administer all of the drugs. We can get started with just the push of a button, then. I feel I should warn you-- you may feel some ain. Everyone is different. I havehad people scream and I have others ask me when it’s starting in the middle of it,” he explained. “Your entire DNA is going to be rewritten. It’ll be like being reborn. I assume that comes with some pain.”

Rikki smiled sheepishly up at him. “I get that a lot. Sorry.”

“Hn,” Victor hummed. “Now, let’s try the honesty game, shall we? Do you need money for a place to stay? Or, are you still waiting for the 'grandparents’.”

irradiatedwithgamma:
After a couple of weeks of this machine of theirs in the making, Bruce was anxious when the day finally came to test out the fruits of his and Victor’s labor. He set out of the tower and made his way to Doom’s company, telling the secretary he was there for a meeting before going straight down to the laboratory in which they had been working tediously in for days on end.
“Mr. Von Doom?” he called out.
Victor had sent his elevator up to retrieve Dr. Banner as soon as his assistant informed of the man’s arrival via intercom. The machine was just about ready. A few tweaks -- all which he got done by the time the elevator opened and his guest of honor arrived. “Yes,” he answered shortly as he rolled out from underneath the vent. He had a bit of grease on him. Normally, he would never let anyone see past the company image he had created all those years ago. But, it was not like Banner would be around to tell anyone or remember. If things went correctly.
“We’re just about ready. I’m going to need a few blood samples, we’ll need to administer the sedatives and I believe I got the correct type of needles you asked for. A bit costy, so I do hope it’s them,” Victor explained as he showed the man to the table where everything was laid out.

He took a couple tools himself and looked into the machine himself, studying the wires inside once it was opened up.
[Fade to black]
Hours were spent down in the lab, each scientist making their own notes on the machine and what exactly would need to be changed. Before they knew it, it was nearing early morning. Victor was reminded by the alarm going off at four to wake him up so he could go on with his daily routine.
“I believe we may get this done quicker than I assumed,” he spoke. Not at all bothered that he had a meeting in two hours and a full schedule ahead of him for the day.

Bruce nodded. “So, Mr. Von Doom, where should we begin?” he wondered, clearing his throat.
“Well, I suppose we should start by opening her up,” Victor admitted as he grabbed a screwdriver from his box and began opening up a panel of the machine.

He shrugged. “I treated myself as a science experiment for many years, you don’t really need to assure me of that.” Bruce told him with a sight smile.”I’m glad to give such a rare opportunity.”
“I know what it’s like to be an experiment. I would never treat anyone like that,” Victor insisted. “This is another reason I’m doing this, another reason I built this machine. You shouldn’t feel like an experiment. Whether it’s because you have fire conjuring abilities, can shapeshift, or you have a raging beast in your head.” He explained. “I’m just glad to help that small percentage of the super community who don’t feel comfortable with what they are.”

Victor waved off the thanks. “You need not thank me, Dr. Banner. This gives me an opportunity to build something with a challenge. These days, I accept any challenge I can get. I’ve grown bored with my own developments.” He explained. “So, I should really be thanking you. Also, you need not worry about being experimented on. I assure you that I will get through the experiments before letting you inside the machine. Your safety is the number one factor in this machine.”

The doctor couldn’t help but smile at the prospect. “Excellent.” he said almost excitedly. Finally this yearning to be Bruce Banner the man rather than the Incredible Hulk was coming to fruition. The first thing he could think of was being able to be a human again, with emotions and stress and able to use his mind for good on a regular basis. “I don’t think I can thank you enough for this opportunity.”

Victor nodded his head. “We can decide that part later. I’ll remake the blueprints with the edits and give them to you when you start. Just come to my office and we’ll work something solid out,” he explained with a small smile. “With any hope, we can get this machine up to date and ready by mid-October.”

Dr. Banner nodded. “An android would be best, at least with that he won’t be as destructive as he was using my body.” Wetting his lips, he continued looking at the machine before turning back towards Victor.

“The finest materials money and traveling can buy.” Victor assured him. He watched as the man checked out the machine. “I’ll take your eyeing as a compliment. I have yet to test it, but according to my calculations, it should be in working condition and give the results wanted,” he admitted. “I would need to make another machine for the host to go into it. We could just build an android of some type. As soon as he’s transferred, break the android down and keep him on a usb.”

Bruce moved away from the table when Victor told him not mess with it, understanding to not pry into what he’s building for his company. Instead, he was more fascinated with that machine of his. He stepped closer to it and analyzed it. “It’s tough reinforcement too.” he noted, clearly impressed.

“I ask that you don’t snoop,” Victor claimed. He didn’t sound too angry that the man was clearly curious. “Until I’ve put a few things away, then you can roam to your heart’s content. Trade secrets and all, you understand,” he spoke. Trade secrets– more like doom bots he was going to set off on New York in the weeks to come.
“Yes… for the most part. It’s a prototype, the blueprints here,” he offered them from a table they were all spread out on. “I need to change some things. This one was… well, you’re going to judge me, but it was one that could possibly cure mutation. Technically medicinal. I’m not against someone wanting to cure themselves, sick or not, it’s their right.” Victor lied easily. More like the machine was meant to take their power, yes, but to transfer it to himself. “It actually won’t take much editing…”

Bruce looked around, impressed, but also feeling uneasy being so far underground. This didn’t feel safe to him, nor did he think Victor would be safe here either of the Hulk did decide to make an appearance. He moved close to a table and studied the tarp, wondering what was underneath before deciding against taking a peek for himself.
“So, that machine? Is that part of what you had in mind?”
“I ask that you don’t snoop,” Victor claimed. He didn’t sound too angry that the man was clearly curious. “Until I’ve put a few things away, then you can roam to your heart’s content. Bruce straightened his posture and moved towards Victor so he could follow him some more around the facility. “I am certain I can figure out the rest of the building.” he assured him as he followed him towards his personal lab.
Victor nodded his head and headed back to the elevator. Once inside, he reached up above the buttons to slide back a panel, revealing a hidden button. He pushed it and a small pad came out for his hand. As soon as he placed it into the imprint, the pad lit to life and some sparks came out from underneath his hand. The elevator then began taking them down into the basement, opening up to a large facility where several tables were covered with tarps and one large machine was located, connected to several vents throughout the room.

irradiatedwithgamma:
Bruce started to wring his hands some more as he thought more and more about this experiment. It was a bit of a long shot, but Victor knew what he was talking about and he had the facilities to handle it–not that Tony didn’t either, Victor was just a lot more willing to help him with the Hulk situation. After all, there was only so much that Tony could understand about the monster the lurks in Bruce’s head.
“I would like to see it.”
Victor gave a curt nod of his head. “Shall we head there now? We can finish the tour later,” he offered. He’d never let anyone into his personal lab, so he had to think about and double-check if everything was put away that would reveal his identity. He was pretty sure if it was out, it was covered up. He hated dust, no matter how thin the layer was, and there had been times in the past when he hadn’t touched his lab in weeks. He’d learned to cover up any bots he worked on.

Bruce nodded. “You’re right. At some point he would either die and fall comatose.” he agreed. “Are you offering to try this sort of experiment?”
Victor gave a half of shrug. “I’m a scientist as well. I am... curious how the situation would go down. If it is even possible. It wouldn’t hurt to dabble and if things come to peak, then they do. There’s no crime in trying? Besides, it looks rather painful to transform into him. If it helps relieve you of pain, then I will be happy to insist. I actually already have a rough draft of the machine. I can show it to you later. It was not thought up for this situation, but it can be adjusted.”
deityisms:
“Of course, but hear me out. You two would be separated and the second host– the Hulk– would be put in a containment facility. Rage runs out just as energy does. Eventually, he would die off without nourishment or he could be given enough drugs to put him in a permanent coma.”
