↳ SYNOPSIS | in which you has to cope up with your annoying neighbour literally everywhere you go. it wasn’t a choice, it was fate. well, at least that’s what jung jaehyun thought.

“30 seconds to go before this match ends. Will the Hustlin’ Riders of NCU be able to win this game or, is it going to be the Wildcats of SKU?”

The audience was anticipating the win of their favored team, more like, the team of the university they belonged to.

“25 seconds on the clock! If the Hustlin’ Riders of NCU don’t score this basket, the Wildcats of SKU will be taking the trophy home.” the announcer said in an amused tone.

“The captain of the Hustlin’ Riders, Jung Jaehyun, seems to be doing the honors of scoring the winning shot.”

The cheers get even louder at the mention of his name. 

Jung Jaehyun. 

The man every girl on campus wants. A prince, as what every student would adress him. The insanely talented and gorgeous guy who could break your heart just by one glance. 

He wasn’t one to mess with.

He gripped the ball in his hands and huffed out of exhaustion. He looked at the basket and got ready to score but, before doing so, his gaze went upon you, sitting on the bleachers with the most unamused smile plastered on your face. 

Don’t take this the wrong way, you really didn’t want to seem that uninterested. The only reason it was like that was because of the person whose turn it was, a.k.a, your sworn enemy.

Jaehyun looked at you and when you both made eye contact, he smirked at you, and a wink was sent your way. All of this happened so fast that you didn’t even realize that he scored the basket and the team had won.

Everybody got up from the bleachers and ran onto the court, congratulating the team while you were still recovering from whatever the fuck Jaehyun just did.

Family’s Day Out

summary: You and your family goes on a trip to the beach.

You were sitting on the beach watching your two year old daughter throw sand around and check out the seaweeds being washed ashore. Yoona has always been curious about a lot of things, and she definitely loved playing on the beach. It was almost time for sunset, but not quite, so it wasn’t too hot nor too cold - the perfect time to play on the sand. While playing near the water, Yoona was caught off-balance and was soaked in sea water. You saw from her face that she was shocked because she was drenched.  “Baby! Are you okay? Can you stand up?” You ask her. Although you can already see tears on her eyes. Yoona stood up and came to you, crying because of her wet clothes. Her arms stretched out towards you as she walked like a penguin in your direction, crying out intelligible words as if complaining that she was soaked by the sea.  You welcome her with a hug as she approached near you. “Awe, baby, it’s okay. It’s just water. It’ll dry out.” You try to comfort her as she sat down on your lap, gently rubbing her back. But it was no use. She kept on crying, so you carry on with your “ssshh-ing.” While you were busy comforting your daughter, a man with black hair and white skin carrying two coconuts sat down beside you. “Hey babe, what happened?” He asked worried, as he gave you one of the coconuts to drink. “She fell and got drenched in sea water.” You could see the worry in your husband!Yoonoh’s eyes. “Awe. Did my baby fell?” he asked in the softest voice possible. Yoonoh put down his coconut and patted Yoona’s head. She was still crying, upset at her clothes, so Yoonoh asked if she wanted to change her clothes. Your baby nodded yes at her father. As you stood up to leave, Yoonoh put out his hand, stopping you from getting up. “It’s okay, babe. I’ve got this.” he said with the cute smile he does when he’s confident about something.  “What?” You ask him.   “I’ll do this, and you-" said Yoonoh while getting Yoona from your arms, “stay here and relax. I know you’ve been stressed.” You can’t help but smile at his last words. It’s been five years, and Yoonoh still hasn’t changed. He’s still the caring and attentive man that you married. He always looked out for you as you did for him, and sometimes, it felt like he knew exactly what you were feeling. Your heart felt so full at that moment that you couldn’t think of anything else to say but “okay.” Off they went back to your villa. Thirty minutes pass and you start to get worried. What is taking them so long? You think to yourself. It takes five minutes to get to the villa and five minutes to get back to the beach. Before you could think of bad things that could have happened, small arms suddenly wrap themselves around your neck. “Ma-ma!” Your daughter shouted in joy. This instantly put a smile on your face.  You turn around to see that your husband and daughter has finally arrived. “Show mama what you’re wearing,” Yoonoh says, looking proud of his accomplishment. Your daughter gives a twirl. She was wearing a peach-colored dress and a bucket hat of the same color to compliment the outfit. Your baby looked so cute, but you don’t remember packing this outfit for your trip, nor have you ever seen it before. “Babe, this is so cute and all, but where is this from?” You ask tentatively, trying to make sense of what’s happening. “We passed by a few shops on the way to our room, and I saw this dress, so I bought it.” Yoonoh tried to explain. “Yoona-ya, do you like your new dress?” He asked Yoona, who immediately nodded and gave another twirl, which made the both of you laugh.  “Aigoo, look at my cute baby!” You exclaimed as you positioned your hands forward, asking for a hug from your baby. Yoona runs towards you and gives you a hug. You open one side of the hug, asking your Yoonoh to join you guys in a family hug. He shyly joins and gives you both a tight hug.  Everything felt perfect. The sun was setting, the air was cold, and you were having the warmest hug. The three of you took a picture afterward to commemorate the day.  __________________________________________________________  A/N: Hey! a chuckle escaped your lips when you spotted an old picture of jaehyun and you while you were rearranging your photo album. "remember this?" you picked it up and passed it on to jaehyun who was sitting beside you.

a smile spread across his face, "how could I forget about that? that was when I asked you to be my prom date, but you rejected me in front of the whole school–" he looks at you with his hand on his chest and a feigned hurt look on his face as he continued, "only to come to my house later that day to say the contrary"

"oh c'mon! you know I freak out when I'm the center of attention!" you playfully nudged his arm and you both broke into fits of laughter.

"what about this one?" you tried your best not to laugh, but miserably failed when you saw the look on jaehyun's face when he looked at the photo.

"this was when you drunkenly confessed your feelings to mark thinking it was me," you said in between your laughter.

"hey! we don't talk about that anymore!" his cheeks flushed to the color of scarlet as he snatched the photo from your hands.

in his blush was a genuine sweetness you had been craving.

you cupped his face in your hands, put on a serious look on your face, and with your attempt at a manly voice you said, "I think I like you, y/n."

out went your serious expression, in came your fits of laughter.

a hue of red spread throughout his cheeks as they burned from embarrassment. it was the sound of your laughter that brought a smile to his face, with the cute dimples making its grand appearance.

oh, how he felt like he was falling in love with you all over again.
