eliot is suffering in this episode. he's tired, he's hungry, he's spent the last eight hours in the same car as a philosophical sophie and a cranky parker, and then some two-bit town sheriff stops him in the middle of a road, aggressively gets in his face, accuses him of being drunk and generally treats him like he's the scum of the earth. the sheriff is trying to intimidate him, but eliot is tired, he is cranky and you can see it in his eyes that he is contemplating murder and knows he can get away with it.

but no. he's a good person now. he can't go on killing people because of a minor inconvenience.

so he gets arrested. three times.

thunderbolts is a movie about bucky barnes getting more and more exasperated about a guy named bob ("bob?" "bob!!") and desperately trying (and failing) to herd the other characters around like ducklings and it's beautiful. my crops are watered, my fields are green, this might be the stupidest group they could have possibly put together and i love every second of it. the escape car is a limo. yelena owns a guinea pig now. avengers tower is relevant again. discount captain america wears a beret and gets absolutely dunked on. super-powered depression can be cured with the (literal!!) power of friendship. bob did the dishes. there's two groups of avengers now and one of them is the avengerz. what the hell kind of 360 no-scope did marvel just pull off?? fucking beautiful, 10/10, no notes.
