Oh! I nearly forgot that some events did line up! Mainly just meeting mayor holiday in ch4 and going to the holiday home even if for us its in ch6 and a ch5 character ive design looks very similar to the roaring knight lol.

Wow. Both official chapters were 10/10! Theyre so different than what we expected and luckily are incredibly different from what we have for chapters 3 and 4. Well this has certainly reinvigorated me so expect more content soon!

Well. Here we are. Deltarune tomorrow. I joined the deltarune fandom only last year and shining hope has only just reached a state where i can share things but I just want to say thanks to everyone that has liked this incredibly late au. I will still be making content for this au after chapter 3 and 4 come out even if our chapter 3 and 4 might get disregarded. Seriously I never expected that my silly little au would even get attention from people so thank you all so much! I hope everyone has a great time with the new chapters and I cant wait to see what the fandom does with the new content and how new aus of future chapters start! DELTAURNE TOMORROW!

Well theres 0 chance of getting the tenna cutscene out in time especially since i got sick. Well im still gonna make it even after deltarune comes out hopefully our chapter 3 and 4 arent too similar to the real thing. Hope everyone enjoys the real deltarune.

Honestly my biggest worry for this au right now is that once the full chapters 3 and 4 come out our takes on them wont get as much attention as they could have before the official chapters came out. Maybe its a bit selfish of me but i really like how our takes on these chapters and they are the whole reason this au exists i just hope that our takes arent too similar to the actual chapters. ANYWAY i wont be updating with new sprites for a bit cause im working on the tenna intro cutscene and thats gonna take a while.

Toriel dark world sprite! I based her outfit loosely on clerics and the colours were based off warm motherly colours, fire, and the main base colour was picked from the butterscotch-cinnamon pie sprite from undertale. Happy late mothers day I guess???

The Deltarune: Shining hope chapter 4 secret boss Revera! This is only her base form she has a boss form and weird route form where she uses the green soul. Her light world object is the angel doll kris and asriel made in church but the wings were too big and broke.

Once she was a beloved servant of the church and was good friends with the bishops Lectshure and Gospell. She was devout to the angel and their teachings of heaven. However one day she was attending to the ancient lower parts of the Sacred citadel a strange man approached her. At first she was taken off guard but calmed down when the man said he had heard of her kindness and devout ways only wishing to confess something he had kept bottled up. Of course she accepted and the man thanked her giving her a strange crystal before leaving. Confused as the man had confessed nothing, she looked into the crystal and saw the heaven she had been praying to for so long and as she did she heard the heavens laugh at her and her peoples misery. She saw that the heavens never took anything about her and her people seriously only finding enjoyment in their suffering. She hated it. All those poor people imprisoned and suffering under the heavens she vowed to free them and cause the heavens to fall. She bided her time and studied ways to destroy the heavens as she slowly stopped preforming her tasks as she used to. Eventually she found the key. Supposedly a blinding shard of twilight had fallen long ago and held great power. The bishops had sealed it away in the deepest corners of the hallowed shores but eventually she found it. It granted her power unlike any other that she would use pierce the earth and the heavens would fall and as the old world crumbled a new world would take form. A new world where everyone could be free and the heavens would no longer exist. However using her most powerful magic Gospell took Revera by surprise and took the shard of twilight from her reverting her back to her original form but scarred from the power of the shard. Shes lashed out at Gospell attempting to take back the shard and convince Gospell of what she had seen. To the citizens of the hallowed shores however she only spouted the insane ramblings of a heretic and Lectshure could not have a heretic in his land especially one after the power of the shard. So he picked Revera up and tossed her off the side of the floating island the citadel sat on and the shard was sealed once again in the depths of the citadel. Presumed dead by everyone the bishops mourned her and Gospell retired to be a shopkeeper leaving Lectshure to govern on his own. Revera however clung to life using the power of the crystal the strange man had given her. Now she waits for someone foolish enough to help her gain back that power she once had and free everyone from heavens punishment.
