i finally visited nyc for the first time in my life and i pointed out every single thing like “didn’t percy fight the sow here?” or “THATS THE FOUNTAIN HE PUSHED NANCY INTO” and all of a sudden i want to reread it so i can visualize the series even better

idk why i’m always in awe of the fact that in percy’s povs, he’s always going “la dee da what’s happening send help!!” and he has a complete hurricane of a brain while every other pov or person just thinks he has it all under control, thinks he’s so cool and strong and powerful

like that is the impact of percy jackson. that is adhd masking at its finest. fake it till you make it. it’s kind of mesmerizing and awesome that people see him like that despite him not really knowing what’s happening

i’m at a point where if a potential partner likes percy jackson they automatically earn brownie points because to me liking the riordanverse is a standard

annabeth with eyes like pretty grey storms, dark like she's analysing the best way to take you down. but inside she's just a wide eyed little girl with a big dream and lot of curiosity who had to be tough, guarded and mean because in a world where love is transactional and people were too egoistical to recognise her potential, she had to be. She had to learn to be smart and cunning and calculating, so that people would respect her, when all she really wants is to be loved.

percy with eyes like the ocean, swirling like he's analysing whether you're a friend or just another bully. but inside he's just a naive little kid who loved too easily who had to be sassy and not care about the world because in a world where authority figures looked down on him and friends were all either fake or bullies, he had to be. He had to be cynical and intimidating, so that people would steer away from him, when all he wants is someone to want to be loved by him.

i am on my knees asking, BEGGING, for the PJO (tv series) fandom to not ship walker and leah.

first off, they’re both minors. second, they are actual people, they are not actually percy and annabeth.

i’ve been in far too many fandoms where the line between shipping two characters and shipping the actors that play them gets blurred, and it (more often than not) ruins their friendship irl. so PLEASE let these two CHILDREN be separate from their characters.
