Here’s a quick and easy way for folks in the U.S. to speak out against the bill passed by the House today (H.R. 1) that funds tax cuts for the wealthy by gutting critical programs like Medicaid and Medicare.

In addition to cuts and requirements that will cause millions of people in the U.S. to lose coverage, this bill bans Medicaid coverage for gender-affirming care, including HRT, for patients of any age (while simultaneously providing an explicit exception for HRT coverage for cis people).

The bill has passed the House and now moves on to the Senate, where it is likely to pass.

And here’s something else folks in the U.S. can do!

Use this link to send emails to your Senators.

This one has a focus on how the bill would affect the trans community, so you can also use this as a script when calling your senators.
