Now that he mentioned it, Val’s head did feel rather sore. Almost as if someone had hit him on the head. Rather hard, since he’s a vampire, and can’t feel a lot of physical damage unless someone really puts some strength into it. Well, whatever happened, at least he was safe here. Red hues looked up, as he nodded in gratitude to the kind stranger.

“that;s good!!~ i’m glad you’re feeling better. by the way, is there anything i can call you by?? i didn’t catch your name...”

he lifts his hand to pat the strangers head to show that he was friendly. dazai also didn’t miss the fact that the stranger had strange red eyes, but having red eyes was normal around here, right?? he hoped it was nothing to worry about even if he already claimed him not to be a threat. it would be a shame if he did turn out to be one, no one had trust issues around here, you had to have your guard up all the time no matter who you were around with.

a sly chuckle escapes past his thin lips as he smirks lightly at the tiny girl before him. he looks down to see the snake in her hands and he nods, almost fondly, a hand reaching down to stroke it tentatively. 

“ah, honey-chan, how’d you know i loved snakes??”

he mostly is enjoying the fact how she isn’t scared of snakes, like how most girls he meets are. they usually leave him because they find out about his pet snake and get scared thinking he was some sort of creep.
