Whenever Stella has a party, naturally, Stolas just stays all by himself on the sidelines while she makes fun of him

But at Blitz’s Sinsmas party, he spends time with Stolas and makes sure that he still feels involved in some way

I love the idea of Stolas celebrating his birthday with I.M.P. 😭

I can imagine Moxxie being in charge of the party and making a mess of things. Stolas seems happy though, maybe because at least they tried to do something nice for him. It would be amazing for Stolas to finally have a party that isn't full of pretentious royals who don't care about him.

Millie as the only one in this doodle looking happy with Vassago's presence hehe. Maybe, the doddles show us only the first impression Blitzø and Moxxie will have of him.

I'm overthinking here but the posture of each might tell us how they feel about Vassago:

Blitzø: Hands on hips - defiant. Reaffirming his authority?

Moxxie: Arms off - scared? Maybe, it's the insecurities that make him feel vulnerable, not capable.

Millie: Seems willing to work alongside Vassago or listen to Blitzø's orders. Maybe she's just encouraging Moxxie.

Anyway, I can't wait to watch season 3 and find out how these clues were true or a red herring all along lol.

He giving up on everything but Octavia in his 20s is so heartbreaking.

Having a precautionary heir in an arranged marriage was never his choice, but loving Octavia deeply as his daughter was entirely his own decision. Throughout all those years, she was the only good thing in his life, as he states in Sinsmas.

Then he meets Blitzø and chooses to have him in his life. Finally, in Mastermind, he once again makes the decision to protect him.

He's slowly taking control of his own life.

It comes with consequences, but he's slowly and surely learning to be the master of his fate.

Really un-fun Helluvaboss fact: The timeline shown in The Circus is very depressing.

Depending on how old we think Young Stolas is in The Circus, and how long a time we think has passed between the “25 years later” and the “Now.” segment in that episode it… Stolas had Octavia when he was *Super* young.

So, assuming that Blitzø has had the book and been running IMP in it’s current office for at least one year as of Ozzie’s, because Millie and Moxxie met at their work, and have recently celebrated their one year anniversary, let assume they fell in love when IMP was still killing people in Hell, and married about the time they moved into the New Office, which we know was right after Blitzø got the book, and so the office move is presumably the same day or a few days after the “Not divorced yet party” from “25 years later".  So that means that Octavia is 17 in the present, and the present is around 26 years after the child segment of The Circus.

Or, to put it another way, Octavia is born nine years after the child section of the circus.

How old do we think Stolas is in that segment? 9? 10? 11? 12? He’s clearly meant to be a pre-teen. That would mean that Stolas probibaly had Octavia between the age of 18 and 21.

Our Owl boy is between 35 and 38 years old, and has been a father for half his life.

If what Stella says about her being thankful she didn’t have to sleep with him after Octava was born is true, then he’s not had sex in sixteen years at the point he re-connects with adult Blitzø (so no wonder he was astronomically thirsty).

The song “You will be okay? Where he sings about how his life hasn’t turned out how he hoped, he hasn’t found Love to be fun, and how he accepts that his stories have all been told and his life is basically over exept for his draughter? How old exactly is Octavia supposed to be in that? A lot of people seem to think that she’s five based on the “I’m not five any more” line for LooLoo land, but If we’re generous and assume Octavia is eight in that sequence, he’s between 26 and 28 when he sings that song. If she is five, he’s completely given upon everything but his daughter at between ages 23 and 25.

Our boy should be in the club therapy.

Until proven otherwise I love the theory that Blitz was on the phone with Cash here.

I'm positive Blitz has as little contant with his father as possible, but if there's any reason why I could ever see him reaching out, it's to find information about his sister. Especially with how angry he was during this call, reaching out didn't even pay off and was just more proof of what an awful father he is.

Like, his tone chages so quickly when someone else calls even before he knows that person has information about Barbie. Though, I have no theories on who this caller could be.

I really relate to Blitz in the way he can never see the things he does for others as enough.

I know the general consensus is he doesn't realise how much he's changed other people's lives for the better, and I'm sure that's true to an extent (especially when it comes to Stolas, because he knows nothing about Stolas' life before their meeting as adults).

But personally, I see it more as a constant chase. A chase where, no matter how much good he brings to others' lives, it's simply never enough, because none of it can make up for the harm he feels he causes by just being in their lives. None of it makes up for the fact that he exists.

He suffered a childhood of abuse and neglect at the hands of his father, and was likely scapegoated his whole life. He probably grew up feeling fundamentally unlovable, like any care he could ever require (from food and clothing to love and compassion) were a burden and a hassle, and like he was only worthy of keeping around because he was useful. And then the accident happened, and he caused so many people an immense pain, and caused his mother's death. All because he dared to want something good for himself.

The amount of guilt and shame that would cause anyone... well. It can certainly have you spending the rest of your life trying to make up for existing. And every good thing that you do, no matter how life-altering it is for others... that's really just the bare minimum you could do to compensate for the fact that you're in their lives at all.

And when you feel like your mere existence is a crime, one which you keep committing with every moment that you continue to live on... well, there is really only one way to finally make up for it for good, isn't there?

what do you think of stolas and asmodeus's relationship?

Ooof... Ok I think Asmodeus has a problem with neurodivergents, and Stolas is very obviously autistic. (And it'll take a bit of explaining cus I do really like Ozzie. But I think this is where he's going to get character growth. So sorry for being slow).

They are very unlikely to ever be close friends; because of Ozzie's bullying, even when he gets passed it.

Stolas looks extremely worried to find out Ozzie's there when we first met him.

But no, I don't think they'll ever really be friends. (But I'm can see Stolas and Fizz becoming friends though).

It's really good writing to have the carer to his physical disabled partner, be bit ableist to invisible disabilities.

Ozzie's a fairly lovely guy otherwise, so it's nice reminder that anyone can be guilty of this.

"Asmodues can be very invasive in his humour. But I thought it was pretty funny myself. What he said about me at least. I enjoys being the subject of jest. Maybe you can say mean things to me too next time you come over" (text from Stolas to Blitz).

His text shows this isn't the first time Ozzie's done this. It's normal for Ozzie to grab him and taking the piss out of him.

"He enjoys being the subject of jest" because it's always just a joke, and Stolas is always the punchline.

Then there's Ozzie behaviour in Opps, like how he reacts during Stolas' appointment. Showing up four hours late without even apologising. (Stolas is just days out of the hospital).

And Ozzie's basically pissed off for Stolas existence during the whole of it.

Getting annoyed at very petty things like Stolas not taking the right seat, and giving him a real answer to a verbal wallpaper question "Still gettin' yo' kink on with that feisty imp?"

He doesn't actually want to know the answer; even though it's the whole reason for the meeting, and treats all Stolitz could be as a race kink. Fizz would probably have been annoyed by that microaggression.

Then Ozzie assumes that Stolas wants to drug and rape Blitz. Assuming the worst of autistic people motivations is unfortunate common ableist microaggression.

It gets much more obvious when Stolas volunteers to help get Fizz home safe; Ozzie's behave gets worse.

With Ozzie being irritated that Stolas stop him signing the first contact, that would have allowed Crimson to decapitate Fizzarolli.

Stolas is so happy be able to use his special interest to help. But Ozzie is extremely unimpressed and angry because of Stolas' stimming.

Then after Stolas quickly writes up a workable deal, and the lawyer is slow; Ozzie sets Stolas on fire.

Through the 11 hour kidnapped Stolas faces all of Ozzie's anger and aggression, right till Fizz come back. Then it's directed at the lawyer, who up till then is only told to read faster.

Ok so he needs the lawyer alive and unharmed to rescue Fizz right?

So that means Ozzie is 100% capable and aware of controlling his anger.

But is choosing to take it out on the guy giving him help. That's like being a dick to your nurse because you're in pain. It's unstable but still a shite thing to do.

Then there's Ozzie being ungrateful callings 11 hours of free help, expecting nothing in return; as being "stuck with Stolas all day".

Some neurotypicals really do just hate you on sight for missing social cues, and Ozzie is being that guy. Even after Stolas saves his lover's life.

And he does the same thing when Stolas does what Fizz was begging him to do; save Blitz from being executed. Unable to hide his irritation.

He really complains that the free help he receive is comes from someone he finds annoying.

Even if Ozzie grows up, and takes ownership of his bullying behaviours; I can't see it as healthy for Stolas to be perfectly ok with him after this.

Thinking about Loona being really excited that she has practically TWO dads now. Stolas acting like a soft dad like he did with Via and while it's a little more awkward he's actively glad to engage with her.

I am still thinking about the official Stolitz crest that we got to see during the pride merch announcements within the first hellaverse LVLUP Expo panel, with this crest being seen on one of the pullover hoodies (I'm sorry I don't have any better pictures atm),

and in combination with the pieces of Stolitz merch that have a ring in it, I'm going all-in on Stolitz marriage so much harder because I love them.

Yes, I'm aware of the fact that the ring is on Stolas' right hand and all that but at the same time that doesn't really matter to me as they're married to each other in my head already.
