Theory: Did Levi wrapped Petra’s body?

Hello Sweeties! 🌷

I hope you’re doing well! Today I wanted to discuss this theory with you. Was Levi the one to wrap Petra’s body on ep 22.

~Before we start I want to add a disclaimer~

This is only a theory as far as I know this theory hasn’t been confirmed by Isayama. Also I want to give credit to this person on deviant art. This person gave me the idea to make it into a theory.

~Let’s start~

Here’s the comment from the person on deviant art. This person claims that Isayama said Levi was the one to wrap Petra’s body. Now I personally haven’t seen any article or interview regarding that so I can’t claim this is true so I’m going to claim it as a theory.

~The theory~

What this person claims makes sense to me here’s why:

Levi could have been the person to wrap her body or he may have been there when someone else was wrapping her body and he let her hand out to identify her body later on. The reason for doing so identification. Either because he wanted : 

1. To get her badge

2. To take her body with him and guard it

Here’s is Petra’s body 😞 as we can see in the photo below Petra is place in a row with other dead comrades. Her body is the only one that has a hand out meaning someone (Levi) let it out on purpose.

Also worth noting Petra’s body wasn’t very well wrap, if we compare her wrap body with the others in the scene when her body was thrown, hers was the only one the blanket came off reveling her face this could suggest 2 options 1. Because her hand was out it cause for the blanket to get loose or the person who wrap her body didn’t do a good job.

Either way it works as a hint that Levi wrap her body but he lacked experience in doing so and the blanket came off or he got her hand out and the blanket became loose.

Levi also knew where Petra’s body was place at and he also knew which one was it because of the hand poking out this could suggest he may had something to do with it.

This concludes the theory, I know this could be seen as a stretch and I understand that but hey sometimes is fun to theorize! I believe he had at least had something to do with Petras hand being out.

~Bonus~

I wanted to add my thoughts on levi taking Petra’s badge.

I feel like this is a big hint for Levi’s part and is sad is so underrated. As far as I know Levi hasn’t done this with anyone not even with Erwin which we are aware he is a very special person to Levi,he has only done this with Petra. Plus the song called your name was playing in the background, I believe that song was inspired by Levi’s and Petra’s relationship.

He later on gives it away to the grieving soldier to comfort him. And the way he looks at it God the feels I interpreted the look as this is the only thing I had of her and now I have nothing.

Levi and Petra’s Valentines and white day event.

~Introduction~

This is my first blog ever and I’m very excited to talk about Rivetra. I’ve been in the fandom for a couple of months now so I’m pretty new to it but some far I’m in love with Rivetra. Thanks to all the people keeping the fandom alive you guys are amazing✨

Before I start rambling about rivetra I want to put a disclaimer this is my OWN Interpretation on the event, so far this has not been confirmed yet but I do have reliable evidence to back up my theory. I will be talking about Japanese culture if you feel I’m being insensitive please let me know. Also I will be talking about Levihan as well and giving my own personal perspective on it as well as using as an example.

*Let’s finally start*

I know few people have talk about this event before but I personally haven’t seen someone mention this. I actually was a little confused on what white day is so I did a quick search and found out that is a day when boys would give a girl a gift. {please feel free to do your own research about it} I also found out that there’s different kinds of gift a boy would give to a girl and would also been seen with different meanings:

1. Marshmallow may seen as the person giving to you is not interested in you.

2. Cookies 🍪 is seen as a way of telling you” were are friends”. Now here comes levihan.

In this event is said that Levi is baking cookies for Hange and giving to them by Levi on white day. If we apply the meaning of giving cookie on white day it means friendship. Now for me personally it makes sense, I see Levi and Hange relationship portrayed as platonic but if you are a levihan shipper and you want to interpreted as romantic you are free to do so.

3. Candy 🍭 it means a person is returning the love 💕 Now here comes Rivetra:

This event was released on different dates.

Petra’s on Valentine’s Day and Levi’s on White day. As we can see Levi is giving Petra a bouquet of CANDY! If we apply the meaning of giving candy on white day it may seen as the person giving it, is returning the mutual feelings. This could suggest that in a way Levi is returning Petra’s feelings.

We know that canonically Petra has feelings for Levi as for Levi there’s a lot of debate but I do think the feelings are mutual and this could be a layer to that.
