Post Ramadan Goals

It is a very common problem we all face. In Ramadan we worship Allah (swt) more regularly. We have to maintain that concentration. Here are some things we can do:

1) Read a portion of the Qur'an every day

2) Improve your Qur'an recitation/reading

3) Offer Nafl (voluntary) prayers regularly

4) Do Wudu before sleeping

5) Keep optional fasts on Monday and Thursdays (masnoon)

6) Be mindful of your speech

7) Give regular charity/Volunteer to help a local cause

8) Visit the sick

9) Keep regular daily invocations

10) Take care of your body through healthy eating and exercise

DAILY DUA

Dua of the sick person who is close to death #3

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وحْدَهُ

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ

Translation

"None has the right to be worshipped except Allah and Allah is the greatest.

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah Alone

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Alone without partner.

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise.

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah and there is no might and no power except with Allah."

Anna Pearce (better known earlier in life as Patty Duke) died of sepsis from a perforated bowel. Septic shock is when the body goes into organ failure due to overwhelming infection. The Centers for Disease Control want you to know the early symptoms of sepsis:

S - Shivering, fever, or feeling very cold E - Extreme pain or general discomfort, as in “worst ever” P - Pale or discolored skin S - Sleepy, difficult to wake up or confused I - “I feel like I might die” S - Shortness of breath

More and more I'm learning that the secret to getting opportunities is just to keep putting yourself out there again and again and again and again and again.... eventually people will know you and recommend you for things or offer you things

and in the meantime while you are waiting to be recognized or being rejected from things (lol how many times i've been there!!) just DO STUFF ANYWAY and KEEP REACHING OUT! rejections aren't personal. do stuff on on your own time. find other opportunities.
