In my school boys aren’t allowed to have long hair and girls cant have theirs short, it’s so annoying and as someone with trans friends and people who literally just want to hide their face in their hair and wants long hair but cant have it im so annoyed

yo why do adults try to tell middle schoolers not to dye their hair or cut it weird or dress strange. Middle school is the most miserable time of anyone’s life, let them have fun and get a mohawk or something. They don’t have colleges to impress or a boss to worry about. They’re 12. Let them be less miserable with their blue hair and bad fashion (so long as it’s weather appropriate! I don’t want anyone wearing only a tshirt and jeans in winter!!!) It won’t kill you to let your kid exercise some control over their appearance that literally will not follow them their whole lives. Who cares if your kid wants to wear unprofessional clothes. They’re a kid, they don’t need to be professional.

So about Hegarty Maths...

I don’t know if you use it in your country or at your school but at mine, we use a website called Hegarty Maths. This is a good website that helps you learn for your GCSEs and can really help bring up your grade. The problem is how our teachers use it. On Hegarty Maths teachers set students tasks that need to be completed within a certain time frame (eg. a week). Each task contains a minimum of 3 tasks but normally it’s 10. If you were given maths homework on paper it would probably be 10 questions or so. Our teachers set at least 5 tasks per week. That means 50 questions per week (normally) and a very badly engineered site where it takes 3 times longer to log in and the servers aren’t very reliable. We can’t keep up, especially whilst surrounded by homework from other subjects as well.

Here goes something pointless

Nothing feels right. I'm scared to sleep, scared to live. I have friends but not all of them care enough or at least show it. I just tried to hang myself and stopped at the last second because I could still easily stand up because I'm a clumsy, tall bitch. I have no idea whether I'm bi or straight or full on gay and I know that no-one will even see this post and I'm going to uninstall this app and change my account name so I'll probably never know what happens and I'm sat here listening to depressing songs what went wrong and why I feel this way and why this time it's worse than before am i tired am I depressed am I okay I don't know and no-one will and I hate my mum and my dad is honestly the best person in the world and I'm not gonna do it not because I'm strong but because I'm too weak and too scared and I get headaches and migraines and I... I don't even know what to do with myself and I don't understand me no-one does and probably never will and I'm about to burst into tears except I probably can't because I can't remember the last time I cried from sadness. I didn't cry at my friends fucking funeral what is wrong with me I'm even secretly hoping that thisĺl be famous and I don't know who to tell oh god I'm just typing and I. Think of everything that is good and It doesn't help and a big won't help but maybe lying down will it always will and that moment where you hang between life and death and it goes fuzzy and it feels fizzy all over and u feel ready it's so nice. This is just a vent and I'm done okay I'm leaving now bye bitch. Live on I guess. Be depressed another day

So this just happened... I was in the kitchen and my mum (jokingly) called me an idiot and I picked up my school tie and I said 'I have been known to do a lot of damage with this thing and last year at school I got into a lot of trouble so she was like oh no please don't tell me that and then remembered and was like oh I don't wanna get any bad calls from school again and I smacked the tie on the ground as she said it and I laughed and was like sorry. She then was like no take me seriously and this thought popped into my head and I burst out laughing... much to her dismay. The reason I laughed was because I thought of something very very relevant... Tie-Die
