It’s 2017 in Derry, Maine and the evils that haunted it only a few years prior have fallen back into the shadows, not that anyone looking into this small town would particularly know. No major news sources covered the largest disappearance of children in the country since 27 years prior. It was a time of paranoia and fear for all citizens of Derry, almost 4 years ago, where an evil entity as old as human kind itself was fought by a group of seven children pushed together by forces unknown for a greater purpose then having a fun summer. Those seven fought this entity, solely known as It, and ended it’s terror on the small town, but none of them were certain it was gone for good and none of them were certain if they should really leave. The desire to leave after that summer was certainly there, but something the turtle wouldn’t exactly let them, there was still something that needed to be resolved before so, something that didn’t necessarily need to be killed with silver slugs but something between them, something inside each member of the Losers Club that hadn’t quite died with the clown.

Now, all sophomores at Derry High, none of them can remember that summer clearly and none of them care to.That doesn’t stop the nightmares, though. None of them truly believe the nightmares will ever go away, the shadows of the children they once were still live inside each of them, and those shadows know the truth… that It will return and so will they. The most they can do until that time does arrive is survive high school.
