best films of 2024 ?

Ok, I'm late and still bad at lists. I'm sure I'm missing some favorites. Nonetheless, here it goes.

Maharaja - If I had to pick my most favorite film from 2024, this would probably be it. There isn't a dull moment.

Bramayugam - So unexpected and brilliant. I love the quiet horror vibe. It's a stunning film.

Aavesham - FaFa! The movie belongs to him. The supporting cast is good and all, but let's be real, without Fahadh Faasil, I wouldn't have this on my list. He was so much fun to watch on screen.

Manjummel Boys - I didn't expect much of this one tbh. But it surpassed what I thought it was going to be. It's vivid and real and keeps you glued as the story progresses.

Aattam - Do yourself a favor and just go watch the movie. The cast, the story, the ending. Amazing.

Meiyazhagan - Heartwarming and I still have heart eyes whenever I watch Karthi. His character has immense charm and I just wanna be his bff.

Laapataa Ladies - Another heartwarming movie. It deserves all the love and is a beautiful watch.

Sector 36 - It's dark and holds such brilliant performances.

Amar Singh Chamkila - I love the way the film unfolds. A+ choices made by Imtiaz Ali.

I haven't seen these yet, but I've heard amazing things:

Also, Kalki 2898 AD has its faults, but I still think it's an important film from last year. A mainstream Indian sci-fi movie? I'm always gonna be there. Hopefully, part 2 is better.
