▫️Don’t you believe there is a side to our sufferings we miss when we focus on our pain rather than on God’s greater purpose?

▫️

It makes so much sense if you can see the purpose behind the pain, you can find the way out of this lie. If you can see the purpose beyond the pain, you will understand God’s ability to leverage the suffering in your life for greater things.

God uses the good and the bad in your life to help you grow. Growth often means pain.

”Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” [James 1 :2-4]

We know why suffering should be counted as joy, because it will change us for the better. It will draw us closer to God.

I was writing to and about Jesus and was so encouraged by his love and his reality! Praise rolls from my soul, I can’t contain how deeply I love God and how much he’s saved me from! I thought I would share it with you! This is the good news we share as a family! This is personal to you as well! You are loved by Jesus!

I’ve been set apart, chosen and selected for good works by my good Father in heaven. I was literally going to hell, not a metaphor that’s real; that’s where I was going! And I deserved it so completely, I earned it! But he loves me so deeply to look at me, to change me and wash me, to anoint me with oil and draw me into his arms. To spill his own blood, as human as he could be in all pain, and he was thinking of me! When he considers himself now he thinks of me, I’m one with him! We’ll be together forever, the blood of the lamb has cleaned me and I am his temple forever - the lamp burns regularly in the tent of meeting, inside of me. It’s tended from evening to morning before the Lord (Exodus 27:20-21). He never leaves me, he lives in me, he’s not far away but he’s so close at all times! He’s not outside of me but he’s made his eternal home, knitted into me! His kind and loving gaze is on me at all times, he drinks deeply of his love for me and is intoxicated with who I am; who I was made to be and who I’m growing up into. How can I keep from singing, dancing and worshipping before him, he’s saved me … I was dead, poisonous darkness was my future but now the poison has been drawn out and love, joy and wild freedom with my Jesus is mine eternal! What circumstance can make me sad? What thing can come before him? This is real and he is worthy! Therefore I will bow my life in all humility, surrender my rights to be his! I will lose myself and be abandoned so he has full control and full access to me! Not one thing will I hold back from him! He can have it all in full, because he is worthy and kind, he’s my good Father and friend forever - he is the one who my soul loves!
