controversial take but i place bus drivers in the same category as cops and psychiatric nurses based on my personal experiences with them on and off the clock. this is more than adequately explained by the occult philosophy of adorno: operating an internal combustion engine causes you to assume residual fascism inherent to the extraction of hydrocarbons, the industrial production of the technology, the mere act of engaging in power/personal agency, and the personal sins of Henry Ford, & we can reasonably extrapolate that the aggregate karmic weight of fascism accrued by each individual that is conducted by the bus is laid upon the bus driver, similar to the sacrificial goat of old.& yes i am disturbed by mass transit proponents who fail to account for this phenomenon but that's a separate discussion. frankly the truly harmless have no need to go anywhere.

it's kinda difficult to talk about "cozy games" because that's an aesthetic and not a genre so its very broad, is it cozy to de clutter an apartment or go on a hike, is it cozy to be action packed or melodramatic or blithely unconfrontational, etc. but I think it's accurate to say that coziness is one of many shorthands that have been developed as an attempt to opt out of ideology, be about nothing. of course with a game made to evoke comfort comes a proclamation of what the author's society considers comfy
