Hey besties–

A family that my friend's in-law knows is trying to get out of Gaza and to Jordan. To do this – to secure peace and safety for their 1- and 3-year-old daughters and to begin rebuilding a semblance of a life – they need to raise tens of thousands of dollars (CAD).

I'm a marketing writer by trade, so you'd think I'd be able to come up with something that was eloquent and made sense, but I'm frankly too angry to really care. At the same time, I don't know what this site's censorship is like, and I want this post to gain reach so...here we are.

This family lost their jobs, their home and their security because of gen*cide. Plain and simple. Their two little girls are likely never going to forget the trauma of the events unfolding around them. The least we humans can do is help each other – and I'm not saying to donate to your own detriment, but I'm boosting this GFM because I'm betting at least a few of us have some dollars and cents to send their way.
