~Basic info~

real name: maddix [REDACTED]

Nicknames: Mute, Mutey, Mu, Doxxy(rare), little shit number 3

Age: adult. Same age as noise and noisette.

Gender: “mind your fuckin’ business”/“whatever” (Nonbinary, intersex)

Pronouns: they/them (you can call them anything but that’s their preferred ones)

Sexuality: pansexual.

Species: human mixed with a cat.

(TW: this backstory contains childhood abuse, losing your voice, and possibly more.)

~Backstory~

from a very young age, mute has always liked acting. They always loved theatres and big stages— their two friends from childhood (noise and noisette) knew this too, it was one of the first things they found out about mute.

There was two factors that got in the way of that, sadly.. their parents disapproval and soon enough, the accident that happened in their teen years.

Mute’s voice box had gotten very badly damaged, the doctors were able to make it that they could still breathe- but they couldn’t speak anymore..

Despite this, with the encouragement of their two friends, they didn’t give up— soon getting even better when they got away from their not so great parents. to this day they are pretty good at acting and cherades.

Those two friends of theirs who were there for them are now their partners- who are noise and noisette. And they love them very much.

They now reside in the tower with them, running their own theatre.

~personality~

Mute is a theatre kid at heart, and can be pretty dramatic at times— but usually it’s all in good fun to them, and their two partners.

Like noise and noisette, they can get pretty annoying , even despite their lack of a voice. That doesn’t stop them from being a little shit from time to time, and never will. <3

Though even if they can be dramatic and annoying, they are much more chill than noise. And obviously less talkative than noisette. Only being more ruthless to their rival Anthea. Otherwise when they switch off theatre kid mode they are usually pretty cool. And they usually do know when to stop. Usually.

They are extremely loyal and loving towards their partners, they mean more than the world to them— even more than their theatre and acting career. They would drop everything for them in a heartbeat.

Though they are much more chill than their partners, If given a voice or a whiteboard they either meme with it(the whiteboard at least) or swear like a sailor(for both) gotta use your voice to the best of its abilities somehow huh

Everything to know about(Fake Peppino/Froggie)

~basic info~

Name: onippeP ittehgapS

Nickname: pip, froggie(his favorite name), Bruno

Age: unknown , but adult. close in age with Evi.

Gender: intersex, but identifies with male

Pronouns: he/it

Sexuality: panromantic demisexual

Species: clone.

(TW: in the backstory there is talk about mental abuse, and lab experiments)

~Backstory~

Pip was the most successful out of many attempts at cloning peppino. And even despite that he still had some flaws, he was as close as they could get him- but not close enough for what pizza head and pizza face had wanted.

Despite this, pizza head had went on in trying to train him to be like peppino. Unlike mrs Neapolitan he was a bit kinder to his experiments, and did more encouraging of the behaviour he wanted then testing him(though that doesn’t mean he didn’t get tested on oh boy.), but that doesn’t mean he didn’t get a bit manipulative to pip.

Pizza head (and occasionally pizza face) had done all he could to make him like peppino, mentally and emotionally manipulating him to feel bad about any of the things that weren’t perfectly like peppino. Though at first he kind of wanted to find his own path, It got to the point where it triggered him if he was called a fake by any means..

Unlike Evi, he was able to roam around the tower freely, being the most perfect clone they could get of course. He was still deemed a failure by pizzaface, but pizzahead hadn’t gaven up on him.

They had found an old but familiar(to him) pizza place , “Bruno’s pizza”, where he resides in most of the time now, though sometimes he goes to wander around other places accessible to the tower.

Once he found another lab in the tower, curiousity got the best of him— he found another experiment by the name of “Evi”, who he got attached to instantly. Though he usually preferred being called peppino, the nickname she gave him stuck as one he cherished the most.

“Froggie.”

Now he resides in the tower, sometimes going to find Evi and take her back to his little home/pizza place.

~personality~

Froggie is much different from peppino, as he usually isn’t anxious. He can definitely have meltdowns and anxiety like attacks, and in a way they are worse than peppino’s- but he’s often smiling (and not just cause his face is permanently stuck that way), and usually is much more curious and childish about things.

You could compare him to a dog in some ways, if he trusts you and cares about you- he’s very friendly and loyal to you, though he’s not as friendly if he doesn’t trust you, and if he doesn’t like you at all and you try to hurt him or someone he loves- he will bite you.

Similar to peppino though- he is very determined about things that are important to him, though it can make him Stubborn sometimes. Though more differently What he places his importance on can sometimes seem random, but to him it makes sense.

~basic info~

Name: Evi

Nicknames: ivE, eve, vivi, vi

Age: unknown, but an adult. One year younger than Fakino.

Gender: Demigirl

Pronouns: she/they

Sexuality: panromantic demisexual

Species: an experiment. (Humanoid made out of Angel food cake, frosting and human/cat/bird DNA.)

(TW: backstory includes: labs, extreme abuse, being tested on and more!)

~backstory~

Evi was made in a laboratory in the tower by mrs.Neapolitan, when very first created- she started out pretty cheerful and childish. The reason for her existence for mrs Neapolitan though was mainly to have another test subject, one humanoid but still made out of something sweet..

Once mrs Neapolitan started to do tests on Evi , it made her much more anxious and distrusting of most things and people, especially mrs Neapolitan. The experiments she went through were cruel— some not being that ethical. But even when she tried to run away mrs.Neapolitan would always find her..

Though one day, when trying to escape the lab, she met another experiment. This one was one of pizzahead’s experiments— fake peppino. This was the first time she wasn’t scared of someone at first sight, at least not as much as usual..

..after playing and getting to know each other, they became friends. And now to this day fake peppino is the one Evi trusts the most.

~personality~

Evi usually is scared and timid now due to being tested on, she jumps at very loud noises, and cries alot when she’s in the laboratory. but when she’s with someone she trusts she’s sweet and childish. She loves to find little gifts for fakino like rocks and flowers, and is happy to help him out with anything she can.

She’s usually fairly weak, though she does have an eldritch horror-like form and inbetweens that she can shift into if she really really needs to fight— but that’s extremely rare to see, as usually Evi is too afraid to fight anyone.

She has a few cat behaviours and a few bird behaviours, I’ve mostly only decided on the cat behaviours like purring, and nuzzling/brushing against those she cares about.

~Basic info~

Name: Peppino spaghetti.

Nicknames: peppy, pep,

Age: adult. Probably about in his 40’s..

Gender: male (usually cis in this au, but in some versions trans.)

Pronouns: he/him

Sexuality: bisexual

Nationality: Italian

Species: human.

~backstory~

Even from a young age, peppino had always enjoyed cooking. It’s what tied him to those around him, and also gave him general joy when learning how.

He started dreaming about opening up a restaurant in his late teen years, though it looked like he wouldn’t be able to just yet when it came to him going to war.

Peppino was always a little anxious, but he was definitely much happier before going to war. He felt like he almost lost everything after that..

Except for Anthea..

With her help, and help from a friend he soon met a few years from returning (gustavo), he was able to at least work on his dream of opening up a restaurant..

The trauma he brought back changed him a little bit, but there was still that love for cooking, along with the help of the other two and that, it made it a little more possible for him to have a happy life after the war.

Anthea had reminded him of the good times before what happened too, she honestly played a big role in calming him down now.. though sometimes he had wondered if he lost a bit of her too, but he didn’t know why..

Things first went pretty well for peppino- but over the time some interferences had made it hard for peppino to continue his dream- but even when times got tough he had his friends to support him, though that couldn’t help with the piling debt- it was still nice. Anthea did open her own business to try and help with his too, though he never knew that was part of the reason.

Now once the pizza tower incident started, he had worried he was going to lose everything all over again. will he be able to stop the interferences before it’s too late?

~personality~

Peppino is still the same Italian chef we know and love, he’s extremely anxious and depressed, and he’s done with most people’s BS.

Despite what you’d be thinking though, He genuinely does like to work in his restaurant and it kind of reduces his stress— well,, sometimes it makes it worse, but mostly he feels better and relieved when he has an order to work on.

Though for the most part he’s fed up with humanity, he has a heart of gold still. He’s still extremely soft and emotional, which makes it hard for him to say no to others at specific times. He also genuinely wants to help people, even those he doesn’t really like.. but This does especially show with people he finds extremely important to him— especially Anthea..

Anthea out of anyone definitely means the world to him, and she can calm him down a lot faster than anyone else. she stuck with him through so much, and still tries her best to help him. Sometimes he feels too guilty to accept her help, but he appreciates it a lot..

Also animals seem to just like peppino, and some try to comfort him whilst he’s anxious (especially cats and dogs for some reason.) Though he’s extremely afraid of frogs for some reason..

Everything to know about(anthea)

~Basic info~

Name: Anthea maple

Nicknames: thea, anthie, Annie.

Voice headcanon: Chisa yukizome from danganronpa 3 despair arc.

Age: adult. One to two years younger than peppino.

Gender: female (cis usually, but depending on a few factors, trans in some versions of the story)

Pronouns: she/her

Sexuality: panromantic , demisexual

Nationality: Canadian, but moved to Italy as a young child.

Species: human.

(TW: backstory contains mentions of extremely upsetting topics, such as being stalked, manipulated and more. Aswell as a brief mention of war.)

~backstory~

Anthea had moved to Italy(or America it depends ) when she was very young, even when she was little she had always had a knack for being caring— and would always look out for those she cared about.

She met peppino when they were in elementary school, and she liked him quite a lot. but they started hanging out the most and became very good friends in middle school. Ever since then their friendship really never faded.

Anthea had always treasured her friendship with peppino, always happy to see him no matter what happened. Though their friendship had started her hopelessly crushing on him for years on end. So when peppino and her were adults, and he had to go off to war.. she really did miss him.

..in this time, she had met someone who seemed nice at first, but over time became extremely obsessive, manipulative and aggressive towards Anthea, starting out with luring her into comfort , but slowly cutting her safety nets- and getting even more creepy at that.. when she finally noticed this behaviour it only got worse, it took a while for her to get away from him and his horrible actions, but when she did it was only a few days before peppino had returned.

She was happy peppino was safe, but seeing how much more anxious he was now, seeing how war had changed him, she decided not to tell him of the person who hurt her, instead she gave into a voice in her head that told her he would be mad at her, and never told him or anyone else about what happened.

As a child, Anthea though usually cheerful and sweet had always been quite emotional, but ..along with growing older, she had realised the best way to keep others happy was to be more cheerful and in high spirits, and once peppino had came back from war, she had decided she’d learn to deal with her issues by herself, and instead of getting help from others, find ways to heal herself whilst she helped peppino heal from his trauma..

She was able to hide it for a good amount of time, but once they’re faced with the tower.. will Anthea still be able to keep her worry-some secret from her dear childhood friend?

~personality~

Anthea has always been extremely kind and caring, she has also always been pretty smart. She has a cheerful but calm personality on the surface and always shows up with a smile. If someone’s sad, she’ll always make sure to comfort them as best as she can..

Though unlike another oc of mine, she does know she can’t save everyone, so if she can’t help a stranger or acquaintance she’ll do her best to say no. but she’ll try her hardest to always save those she loves no matter what.

Though her optimism shows for others, on the inside.. she has lots of anxiety, a lot like peppino. It’s hard for her to show this around others and you won’t spot this that easily, but when she’s put under too much stress or pressure she’ll pop and start to show her extreme anxieties.

She also is very quick to try and defend and help peppino through anything, and will support him as much as she possibly can.

The start of an untold side.

From since they met in childhood, peppino and Anthea both had a sense to protect each other from danger, and throughout their friendship, they both knew they could trust each other— sometimes more than anyone else.

Though ever since peppino went to war, Anthea had grown to not tell peppino about her troubles as much, instead trying to help him much more, and due to his trauma he needs much more of it- even when he tries to deny help.

Though she still sometimes has times she has no choice, and peppino happily helps her.. there’s one secret she sits on, one she never wants to tell him.

However, when peppino called desperate for Anthea to help save his restaurant when it was in danger of being blown up— she came right away, almost inhumanely fast.

Upon going through the tower to see what they’d face, Anthea finds a secret room, with stairs that lead down to more levels.

As soon as she was going to tell peppino what she discovered— an ice cream lady had appeared to tell her about how the levels were designed specifically for her, and that peppino finding out would do no good for any of them..

Instead, she must complete these levels alone. If she does not succeed on completing all the levels— peppino will meet a terrible fate.

Being easily tricked from worrying what her childhood friend would’ve faced— she went on to complete the levels in the dungeon, unknowing she fell right into mrs.Neapolitan’s hands..

If she didn’t succeed on getting through these levels, peppino wouldn’t be the only one facing a terrible fate.

I hope you all enjoyed the surface! There’s a lot more to be hidden in the crevices of the tower~ including the dungeon~

As you can tell, this AU is basically just pizza tower with some add-ons, but despite that I’ve put a lot of work into this so I hope you all enjoy it too!💜

Hi hi so !!!
