very pleasantly surprised with the nuanced portrayal of mara this season… it lets her explain some of her actions and presents her in a respectful if not downright positive light, but the lore bits on ishtar also don’t shy away from her more toxic and manipulative side and let her be criticized by other characters. imo it’s a good balance
