HEY FRIENDS! After some consideration, I'm going to be relocating! I know everyone here pretty much knows me by my IRL name, but what with the expectation of being a real adult and all, it kind of becomes weirder and weirder to have that name attached to all the gratuitous anime fanart I draw...so I'm going to be over here from now on, and I hope you'll all join me! I'll be going by Bao (like the steamed bun), so it'd be super swell if you'd call me that. Not really a big deal for anyone to know who I am and what my actual name is, but hopefully you all understand the weird mental dissonance of having the same name on your resume as the name that you draw yaois under...

There's something I want to clear up--I've tweeted about it, so if you follow me on twitter, sorry for redundancy! Basically what it is is that if I've meant for something I've drawn that is otherwise ambiguous to be taken as a romantic relationship, I would have tagged it as such. I know it's kind of nit-picky, but when I draw something and post it, I mean to share a certain idea or a certain interpretation of a relationship, and it's kind of disheartening to feel like my intent is completely lost.

So if you follow this blog or see this post, all I ask is a few seconds of courtesy for both myself and for fellow artists who I know feel the same way. It only takes a little bit of effort to be more considerate of the artist's intent when you reblog something. If you don't know whether two people standing together in a picture is meant to be taken as romantic, please check my original tags! Thank you!!
