Sorry for the lack of activity today, everyone. It’s been a really draining day and I just need some time to recharge. I’ll hopefully get to everything tomorrow since I’m meeting with my internship supervisor in the morning. Wish me luck! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day/night ♡
P.S Still working up the courage to talk to others about threads/relationships. Please be patient with my shy, mess of a self. Thank you! ♡

It's Sexual Sunday so...
send my muse inappropriate questions
flirt with them anonymously or not
try to make them blush
kiss them at random
send me terrible pickup lines
get my muse hot and bothered
Pretty much this is your excuse to do what you want to my muse and see if you can get away with it. So go crazy!

no offense but the soft uncertain kiss followed by a pause where the people look each other in the eyes and then fucking pull eachother back into a more passionate kiss will always be the most soul destroying trope , catch me lying on the fucking ground sobbing and rewatching The Scene™✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

━ UPDATE!!! Please read if you plan on interacting with Roxy!!!
As you can see, my URL has changed! (officerfoxyroxydpd -> detectivefoxyroxydpd) As I was writing Roxy, I realized that her title as Officer is totally off given her previous occupation as a detective back in her old precinct.
To clarify: In her MAIN VERSE (or at least how I have been recently writing her) Roxy is a transfer to the DPD. While she already has the credentials to be a detective, because she is in a new environment, I wrote that she is something along the lines of a JUNIOR DETECTIVE. She tags along where she is needed for the time being rather than going out on her own.
Her expertise is mainly in NARCOTICS. This would include cases involving Red Ice. But, she also has knowledge on Cyberlife androids, so she would most likely help out in cases involving androids if she is needed.
I hope this isn’t too confusing? I have UPDATED HER BIOGRAPHY PAGE in accordance to all of this. I’m so sorry for the mix-up/confusion and hope this post clears it up.
((Also I changed her age just a bit to 26 since 24 seemed a bit too fast for all this stuff to happen to her with school, etc. I also am thinking about adding that one of her grandparents was a cop? We may never know. ))
Please like this if you have read this! Feel free to delete the like later, I just want to make sure my mutuals see it!

Like Fowler, his gaze on her eyes lingered a flicker longer than the rest, which were clearly sizing her up. It didn’t exactly take a Sherlock to figure out his feelings -- He wasn’t impressed. Everything about him, from his look of indifference to the disinterest lacing his tone, screamed ‘I could care less.’ She had expected a less-than-thrilled reaction to her presence and didn’t exactly blame him, either. No one ever wanted to be the one looking after a rookie. There had times where she was in his position -- working with new recruits. Despite the differences in experience, none of her assigned rookies gave her any issues. She had even enjoyed the experience of watching their growth. But, she had a hunch she wouldn’t be receiving those same sentiments from Detective Reed.
It was to be expected.
What wasn’t expected was his introduction -- or rather, the lack of introduction. In fact, he introduced her to the coffee machine, instead. Despite the feeling of shock, her expression only read as blank while he continued going on about...making him coffee? In the moments he took his leave, irritation shot through her, hitting and enveloping her like a tidal wave. Her jaw tightened but quickly flew open as she whirled around and-- he was gone. Perhaps that was for the better. Going off on her ‘superior’ after only half an hour into her first day. “What am I? An officer or an intern?” Suddenly, she was extremely aware of her stomach eating away at itself. The cause could have been a number of things: The fact she skipped breakfast, first-day anxieties, or most recently, Detective Coffee King. The thought of brewing herself a cup left a bad taste in her mouth -- Actually, he had left that taste in her mouth. “Or, maybe I’m an android now, too.” With a bite of her tongue, she moved to the vending machine nestled in the corner of the room.
Roxy prayed that he was part of Detroit’s demographic of residents who did NOT own an android. Were there laws on the mistreatment of one’s own android? Or does it only extend to the damage of another’s ‘property?’ The unfortunate reality sent an uncomfortable shiver up her spine. But, it was a reality would have to acknowledge--
That didn’t mean she would accept it.
--
Officer Chen had walked in almost immediately after Detective Reed’s much-desired departure. The tension of the conversation just moments ago hung off Roxy like ropes. She spoke up, striking a conversation with the transfer. After introductions and exchanging backgrounds, Tina went on to inquire about the elephant in the room: The eyes. Being asked about them no longer phased Roxy. After explaining and sharing their experiences as women on the force, Tina mentioned, “A state-of-the-art android detective and a woman transfer -- In the same week, no less. The DPD hasn’t had anything this eventful happen in a while.”
“An android detective?” Corrine hadn’t mentioned a new model. Assuming it’s a prototype, however, she may not have had the clearance to relay, or even know about that type of classified information. Around the same time, huh? “Did Captain Fowler, by any chance, mention I’m...human?” The question felt foreign rolling off her tongue. The look of confusion Officer Chen flashed her confirmed it must have sounded just as strange.
“I mean, when he said you were a transfer I just assumed-- Wait, you don’t think...?” Roxy couldn’t help chuckling darkly at the other’s awed expression.
With a glimmer in her artificial eyes, she gave her a shrug, “I supposed we’ll find out, won’t we? Do me a favor and play along?” She winked, matching Tina’s smirk as she strode back to her desk. Instead of setting up her desk, she nonchalantly put the box on the floor beneath her before logging into her terminal. She explored the interface, attempting to look as official as possible.
Make a fool out of me, why don’t you? Try me, Detective.

private thread between @blackcoffeefumes and officerfoxyroxydpd ♡
“Remind me again why everyone back home would want snow?” She murmured, arms tightening the hold she had around herself in an attempt to warm-up. She had only encountered snow at the Grand Canyon, if that even truly counted as snow. There hadn’t been much of it, after all. Not to mention, it had never been freezing at the Grand Canyon. Her arrival in the Midwest begun her first experience with snowfall…and blizzards. It would be a lie if Roxy said she hadn’t wanted to experience her own White Christmas, but looking at her current landscape – cloudy skies, grey slush lining the roads, clearly miserable people – she decided was contemplating taking that sentiment back. Still, she found herself fascinated with the fleeting glimpses she could steal of the snowflakes painting the passenger-side window. It was a much-desired distraction from the figurative snowstorm in the pit of her stomach.
“The grass is always greener on the other side, right? You get used to it…or not. Just think – Now you get all four seasons!” A hum came from her sister, her eyes not straying from the road as she continued on to the station. For one reason or another, she had insisted on driving her younger sister to her first day of work. It was probably their mother’s doing, unable to see her little girl moving on to other opportunities – This would be the next best option. As much as Roxy appreciated the thought, she wasn’t exactly fond of being babied at twenty-four. “Rox, for someone who wears the exact same hairstyle every day, you sure seem occupied messing with it.” Roxy turned away from her compact mirror, sending the older an icy glare, but sighing in defeat. She wasn’t wrong, per se. “I swear I will teach you how to do your hair, yet…Then again, you did climb up the ranks back home no problem, even if your hair was an unprofessional mess on a daily.” Corrine snickered, ignoring her sister’s stink-eye as it grew in intensity. “What I’m trying to say, Rox,” she began as they pulled into the precinct parking lot, “Is that you are going to be just fine, messy hair or not. You’ll be at the top of the food chain in no time. Now. Go show those boys what you’re made of.”

A concept:
Roxy is anxious around children. In reality, she adores them...But a majority of them find her eyes off-putting, if not terrifying. Infants are a hit or miss, while toddlers tend to be the ones to freak out the easiest. She typically lets the other officers speak to children in cases that call for it. On those rare occasions, if a child doesn’t think she is some sort of monster, it’ll completely make Roxy’s day.
