So I have a Hailey Upton x reader fanfiction partially written. I was imaging a couple of parts to the story and I have part of the first one written and that’s it. Is anyone interested in written the rest? Below is the working title and a description.

Jack Of All Trades? (Hailey Upton)

Description: Reader is a detective and a K9 handler for the Chicago Police Department. She served with the Marines as a medic and K9 handler. Reader meet Hailey when she was in the police academy and started to date at that point. Transferred to Intelligence shortly before Hailey.

So, last night, right before I went to bed, I saw the news that Jesse was leaving Chicago PD, and I hoped that it was just a rumor. But today it seems to be 100% true, and even Jesse himself confirmed it. I don't even know how to process this, let alone write about it.

I really hope that this was Jesse's decision to leave. However, after what I've heard about Kelli Giddish leaving SVU, and it not being her choice, part of me thinks this wasn't Jesse's idea. And the way the he wrote his twitter post confirming it....it doesn't seem like Jesse wanted to leave.

I hope Dick Wolf and whoever the higher ups are for Chicago PD know that the ratings WILL drop, seeing as Jay Halstead was one of the reasons we started watching PD in the first place, and he has been a fan favorite since season one. I'm hoping that if it wasn't Jesse's decision to leave, producers will reconsider brining him back pretty soon, but after all of this, I don't know if Jesse will want to come back.

Requested: yes by anonymous; Kelly Severide x Sister!Reader where Kelly is working with OFI for a little while so the reader is covering for him as lieutenant on squad (which she has done many times before) and one day after shift they meet up at Molly’s just to hang out and he starts asking questions and making suggestions and basically trying to be a backseat driver. I’ve been saving this one for you! I hope you like the idea as much as I do. Welcome back!!

Warnings: Kelly being irritating, language, usual sibling dynamic.

A/N: I am definitely glad to be back, I’m probably a tad rusty nonetheless I hope you enjoyed this. I apologize in advance for any grammatical errors.

It was nearing the end of another solid shift. Kelly was away working at OFI so you had stepped in and became interim squad lieutenant, a job you’ve done plenty of times before. It’s as if being on squad ran through the Severide bloodline. Being on squad was like a breeze during the summertime, you absolutely loved it, especially when you got the chance to take over as lieutenant. You had proved yourself time and time again that you were perfect for the position, it worked even better whenever you got to show a bunch of sexist pigs from other firehouses that you could do their jobs leagues better than they ever could.

However, there was always one small problem. That problem being Kelly. Now it wasn’t like he didn’t believe that you would do a great job, he honestly thought you were a better lieutenant than he was at times. But with him being your older brother came with a lot of backseat driving. Although it always came from a place of wanting to give you advice it couldn’t help but sound like he didn’t trust that you could make the right decisions out in the field. Which was quite the opposite of what he thought, but there was always a little voice in the back of your head nagging that you weren’t and would never be good enough. No matter how much confidence you had in yourself you couldn’t get that little voice to shut the hell up.

Later that night you and Kelly had met up at Molly’s for your usual round of drinks. Since he now had a less soot-involved job he had shown up before you, already ordering your drinks. You had walked in, fresh from a shower and in a new pair of clothes that didn’t reek of smoke, unlike your uniform.

“Hey, I got you your usual.” Kelly greeted sliding the glass toward you.

“Why thank you, big brother.” You gratefully took the glass and took a seat on the stool.

“How’s work, Cruz get on your nerves yet?” Kelly asked as he took a sip of his beer.

“No, not yet. I think he’s actually more scared of me than he is of you.” You smiled widely.

“Seriously?” Kelly furrowed his brows.

“You should’ve seen his face when he had to organize the truck earlier. It was pure gold.” You laughed at the memory.

“You’re gonna need to teach me then.” Kelly said.

“Why would I? It’s funnier when only I can do it.” You smirked, making Kelly roll his eyes at you.

“Any interesting calls today?” Kelly asked.

“Yeah, there was this one call, I had to rappel down the side of the building because the ladder wasn’t tall enough.” You nodded your head.

“You remember BRAKES?” Kelly questioned.

“Yes Kelly, you forget that I’m usually the one rappelling in squad.” You rolled your eyes.

“I know, I just want to make sure that you're being safe.” Kelly explained.

“Yeah, yeah, for once in your life just trust that I can do this job without you trying to backseat drive. If I need any advice, who else would I go to ask anyway besides you?” You sighed inwardly.

“I do, I swear. I guess I need to stop acting like an overprotective brother on certain things.” Kelly nodded.

“Yeah, namely my job.” You scoffed.

“I’m sorry.” Kelly apologized.

“I know you are, just at least be more self-aware sometimes.” You laughed.

“Me? Self-aware? Never.” Kelly joked.

“Tell me about it. I had to tell you time and time again to just ask Stella out only for you to ignore every piece of advice I have ever given you.” You raised your brows.

“I’m not sorry for that. I still got the girl anyway.” Kelly shrugged.

“After some trials and tribulations, that’s for sure.” You reminded him as you took a sip from your drink.

“Call it ‘experience’ if you will.” Kelly argued.

“Sure, we’ll go with that.” You nodded unconvinced to which Kelly pulled a face at.

Together No Matter What

Jay Halstead and OA zidan story 

A/N: This is Part one to my OA and Jay’s sister story. This is just the first chapter and I’m trying to lay the groundwork out for it !! So I hope everyone enjoys ! 

Helping people had always been in your blood. You knew you wanted to make a difference.

You were adopted when you were just a baby. So you didn’t look like your siblings and no one would have known if you didn’t tell them.

 Your brother was a detective and your other brother was a doctor. You never really knew what you wanted to do with your life. 

That was until you went to college you started taking criminal forensics classes and got into that field.

 You were recommended to become an intelligence analyst for the FBI by a professor who had connections. 

You fell in love with the job immediately. It was like you had found your purpose in life

. You did have to leave home and go to New York. It was hard to say goodbye but you felt like this was a good fresh start. 

Working with the team was such a blessing. They were like a family to you though there was one person you were extra close with. 

You and OA were on the down low. It started off as something small that became something more. 

You never felt this way before about anyone and OA always told you the same. 

He always told every time before the two of you went through those double doors he loved you and he would squeeze your hand. 

The two of you were basically living together at this point. 

He had more closet space in your own closet than you did. He had taken over half the bathroom. His stuff was all over the place which you didn’t mind.

I get people being upset about Jesse/Matt leaving but I'm seeing people hoping that the show ends soon now. Which I don't think it's fair to the rest of the cast and the crew. Don't wish people losing their jobs just because your favorite is no longer part of it.

I haven't seen anything like that, and I hate that that's even mentioned. They said in the 200th episode interviews that they can see it going to 400. Remember - NBC on Wednesdays blows every other network out of the water. All three are the most watched in their time slots, Fire's the most watched Wednesday night show in general, and PD has the highest percentage of viewers (ie a higher percentage of people watching TV between 10-11EST are watching PD than the percentage of people watching TV between 9-10EST who are watching Fire). These are huge, huge shows. They're going to keep going.

This kind of feels like a Stabler leaving SVU moment to me. Founding member of the show, the first billed actor. It was huge. People didn't think SVU would continue. It's nearly doubled its episode numbers at this point. There's going to be change, it's going to be different. But every member of this cast and crew deserves our love and support, if people are still able to watch.

I know some people won't be able to, and that's ok! I said it myself back in May, if they'd killed Kim off on PD I didn't think I'd be able to watch again. I completely understand that, and I will never, ever shame anyone for making that choice. I'd hope people would be able to come back eventually, but I will never shame someone.

But this is the longest running Chicago based show ever. That's such a huge milestone. The amount of people employed on it is huge. And I think to wish it'd be cancelled because of one actor making a decision to leave is kind of narrow minded. Plus, remember, Jesse's still friends with all of them. That would be hell to have on your mind, that your decision lost your friends their jobs.
