Name: Karsitt.
Gender: Male.
Age: Unknown.
Status: Elite.
Physical Description: Of average stature, Karsitt nevertheless exudes a fearsome aura with stiff poise and stern expression. His hair is generally elaborately braided and pulled back, though occasionally loose, and is a stark-white color, off-setting even his incredibly pale skin and sky-blue eyes. There are no blemishes on his skin; his is the product of immaculate care over the centuries. There is nothing else of note besides his unusually colored hair and gently pointed ears.
Personality: Even-keeled and blunt to a fault, Karsitt is never one to smooth things over or attempt to teach others. Occasionally he might attempt to worsen conflict with cleverly placed words. Most often, Karsitt usually prefers to be left alone. While conflict may be his only source of entertainment, he detests having to do any of the dirty work himself and when he takes on a watchmans role in the wars Ma'tra wages, he's pleased-- or as pleased as he can be, with his soul as ripped and damaged from having spent so much time in the underworld as a living being.
Skills: Karsitt processes large amounts of information daily, and has a mind that retains much of what he learns of sees almost pristinely. While he lacks the ability to connect with anything or anyone on any real emotional level, he can look at situations objectively and with a harsh logic that has often aided him and his allies both. Physically, Karsitt is fairly weak in human-form, save for limited abilities at manipulating wind. His dragon-form, his true-self, though, is physically powerful and has a quick lunging bite that can be hard to avoid.
Backstory: The third to be recruited to Ma'tras holy war, Karsitt originally resided in the floodplains of Dya'na, a simple farmer. Out of place even then, his birthplace being in the endless skies of Cellärne from where he'd left to lead a more solitary life, Karsitt was easily swayed to the darkness of Rhudarma by Vulfolke and Thirret's speeches in his village. They preached of their cause to burn the sun away, seeking to find followers willing to die for Ma'tra, the god of the shadows and darkness itself. Karsitt followed them through the gates of Henma'ki, and entered Rhudarma with his soul intact and very much alive-- a feat boasted only by a very few. With a rage born from socially inflicted isolation in his homeland and personally inflicted isolation in Dya'na, Karsitt became the perfect fit with training from the court mages of Rhudarma, showing an aptitude for the magic born from wind and storm. And his true self, a dragon like his kin, was especially desired in the battles of the very first Shadow war. His true strength, though, will always be clever thinking. As the wheel turned, and time passed, and gates were sealed shut or opened purposefully or accidentally, Karsitt eventually became the preface to war. He would be the first to exit the newly opened gate to the middlelands, surveying the population and taking a few darklings with him, little eyes and ears to aid him in his watching. Clever people watched him in return, suspicious and fearful, and rumors spread and grew into legends in the periods of relative peace. Tales of a white-haired dragon, the harbinger of shadows.
Profession: Shadow-General.
Relationships: Ma'tra. Thirret. Kinfetter. Vulfolke. Halverim.
Location: Rhudarma.
Religious Beliefs: n/a.
Goals: To study, to learn.

✥ Countries: Dya'na Home to:
An elvish-fae-human mutt-like mixed race called the Shillnakur with prominent traces even still of their long vanished ancestors the Mirik.
Located:
The western-most continent is their home, and they are connected by a land-bridge to Ulleshakhan with whom they have a long antagonistic history of skirmishes and wars.
Notably the second largest landmass.
Alliances:
Chakka'li and Kzadith.
*Relations with Kzadith are rapidly failing as Kzadith begins to show signs of moving towards a political alliance with Ulleshakhan. The alliance with Chakka'li will likely fall into disrepair due to a lack of communication only augmented by the vast distance between the countries. At the moment, the only interaction between them is trade.

Sparrow in your gaudy cage, Can you hear my song? It’s sung just for you, It’s the drama of the Sun.
Arrows flight is straight and true To the center of the dawn, It’s piercing scream darkness-brought.
The anger of the Wolf is all-devouring, not even the stars so bright can pacify.
The sorrow of the Sun is blinding, so fear the raging thunder and flee the striking lightning he unleashes.
Watch the Wolf nip at your door, and see the Sun sink to dreams of better times and gentle laughter.
Go find the moon fighting the war with its light so dim and ever-waning.
A thousand rays of dark will pierce his back, the scream is the oceans roar.
The Shadows great advance, stampeding beasts crushing the frail flowers in their path.
The stars arise to wage the war and fight, fight the army of the moonless night, the sunless day.
They are the only light in a now dark sky, The last defense—
a faltering hope.
--though even the greatest Shadow is always felled by light,
however dim, however faint.
The stars are victorious.
No celebration is heard here, sparrow-- blood is water and bones are fields of grass.
Sparrow, in your gaudy cage—
So gilded with the blood of enemy and friend alike The sun, the moon, the stars—
Listen to my song.

Name: Demach.
Gender: Male.
Age: 3k +
Status: Exiled.
Physical Description: Tall, swimmers build, tan skin with pitch-black hair usually swept back from his forehead. Short-medium length, slightly choppy in looks. Typical golden eyes of his race. Fanged; rest of teeth slightly pointed. Short pointed ears. Scar across left side of lip. Tattooed back of neck down back: design of big swooping lines forming an abstract falling star.
Personality: Quick-witted, Demach is deeply invested in the fate of the world. He almost sees it (though he doesn't quite realize it) as his own duty to watch over it, since, in his eyes, the Star has failed in this task. He can also be acerbic and rough-spoken if pressed to invest too much time around other people. He is, however, adept at donning 'masks' of different personalities he's perfected over the centuries and manipulating his way out of a good variety of situations. As a result, Demach is like the sea itself. You never quite know what his mood will be, or how he'll react.
Skills: Adept at manipulation. Fantastic navigator, both on land and on the sea; especially skilled at navigating by the stars. Well-versed in fighting with staves that he typically sharpens into points at either end. Also fairly good at picking locks, though he tends to delegate that task when it's needed to others. On the flipside, absolutely terrible at diplomacy between warring/irritated groups of people. Also horrible at maintaining relationships.
Backstory: One of the Lastborn of the Mirik, Demach was still a youth of his people when the Star journeyed to the diamond-center of their world, forging into the tunnels to find an eternal sleeping place. The Mirik, being the ones closest to their god, journeyed with him-- and enforced the law that declared all of them would travel with him. Demach, during the months-long journey, winding their way deeper into the earth and while creating a chamber for the Star was considered fortunate by his people because he grew close to the Star. It was ever, during the last month, Demachs goal to sway the Star from his plan to sleep. Demach believed that running away was even worse than watching idly as the peoples of the world began to stop believing in him. The Star, was, in essence, both Father and God to Demach, whose parents had been killed in a skirmish between the Mirik and the Ithus, who were beginning to encroach on the Mirik's land near the end of the Mirik's time on the surface of the earth. Though angry when the Star descended into sleep, Demach held his promise to him for five hundred years and guarded the door to his chambers alongside Teria. Over such a span of time, though, Demach had the years to harbor a deep anger towards the Star. Still something of a youth in the eyes of the Mirik, he failed to convince anyone of what he considered the stupidity of the Stars decision, and failed to convince Teria to leave with him. In the end, in his five hundred and twenty-sixth year of life and five hundred and first year of guarding the Stars chamber, Demach escaped to the surface. So far as he knows, even still he is the only one to do so. Demach has lived on the surface for somewhere around two thousand and five hundred years-- he lost count awhile ago. Alternating between a seafaring life and the life of an explorer, he has always maintained a non-interference policy with the rest of the world. He has never fought in a war, never vowed loyalty to any queen or king. The most contact he's had with the people of the world is only recently in the last decade, as he's, with the caches of gold he has, procured a ship and motley crew and has been sailing the seas with the only clear-cut purpose being seeing the world-- and, to placate the crew he needs to sail the ship, the pursuit of gold. It's led to them becoming the most notorious pirates of the seas.
Profession: Ships' Captain.
Relationships: The Star. Teria. First Mate. Shenn.
Location: The Oceans and Seas.
Religious Beliefs: n/a.
Goals: Watching the world; watching over his crew.
