oh the feminine desire to pilot a fast and dexterous ship weaving through curtains of bright bullets, grazing past, and looking on in wonder and beauty, knowing full well that the slightest mistake means destruction. i set ship fire mode to wide shot, i watch as my enemies vaporize in seconds. a large, hulking machine approaches next, easily 100x my size, for a brief moment, i can see the enemy pilot through the cockpit and we make eye contact; we know that one of us will die in the next minute. neither of us will make it easy. we harbor no hate towards the other, as this was fated to happen. it couldnt end any other way. i wouldnt want it to.
