Troubled is the least of his emotions. Perhaps he feels much at times when he shouldn’t. “I had thoughts of your mother,” he confesses, placing a hand to the younger’s cheek. “I see her in you. There is a gentleness in your soul. Never let it go.” 

Apollo lowered his hand. Straightening now, he nodded towards the balcony. Marble halls made up his domain. The beautiful construct of the Gods themselves weaves power and majesty. He overlooks the very sun he harnesses and caresses. It fuels him. 

“There is war brewing on the Earth. Deliver this to King Priam of Troy. I have instructions to come.” Zeus need not know his involvement. There will come a time for tides to turn even if the war has not begun as of yet.

Connor’s innocent smile soon turned to the roil of lust bubbling from her movement. He fastened hands to her hips. Keeping her steady, at her obvious inexperienced pace, the vampire still found enjoyment in it. She was tempting him. With his body having a natural reaction, he took her by the wrists. 

“Asuka, stop,” a quiet but firm command escaped his parted lips. His tongue darted out to smooth against his lower lip. 

“You’re making it difficult for me.” It was the truth. If she keeps going she will arouse him too far. Then he will have no choice but to personally deal with the problem. As much as he wants to lay claim to her Connor also is conscious of her state. She is drunk on something other than alcohol. Drunk on the high of their entanglement. That goes without saying for him. Her scent is amazing. 

He shifted upright, keeping her atop his lap with arms around her waist. “I won’t take your virginity. Not like this.”

Deviants. Humans. His sole decision entering Cyberlife was to murder the guards in the elevator. They would not let him complete his task otherwise. He would say it was the only choice. Connor knew no matter if that choice meant freeing his people in the end the RK800 will never escape his past. 

“If there is something else you would like to say now is the time.” His brow turned harsh. “You may do so at your risk of me answering you succinctly and with examples.” Bore them to death. Ah, yes. Hank is correct. That is a cruel and unusual punishment.
