ALRIGHT LISTEN. as much as I loathe to make these sort of posts, sometimes I feel like somebody has to say something.  for those of you in the RPC who have headcanoned your characters as LESBIANS – do not ship with men. I know it seems counterintuitive to be writing this ( & I do not want to drop someone’s @ ), but shipping a lesbian character with a male is… wrong? actively seeking male/female ships with a lesbian is… wrong ? making AUs where your lesbian character isn’t a lesbian is actively lesbophobic?

real life lesbians do not have the luxury of ‘aus’ where suddenly they aren’t gay. so can we please not do that with lesbian characters? it’s really gross & to me it feels like people are headcanoning their characters as lesbian for points only to give themselves an abundance of ‘easy-outs’ on the side. & nobody is saying anything. like ? respect lesbians & lesbian characters ? it’s 2019. 

you can easily headcanon your character as another sexuality if you are seeking out male/female ships if your character isn’t canonically a lesbian to begin with.
