We live in Gaza, under siege, under constant fear — and now, under famine. 😔🍞

Last night, my little daughter, Alma 👧, cried herself to sleep. She whispered, “Daddy, I’m hungry…” 😢 But I had nothing to give her. Not even bread. Just pain. Just silence. 💔

There is no food here. The Israeli occupation 🚫📦 is blocking aid, food, and basic necessities from reaching us. There is no clean water 💧, no electricity ⚡, and now — a famine is killing our people, especially our children 🧒👶.

I am writing to you — the LGBTQ+ community 🏳️‍🌈 — because I know many of you understand what it means to be marginalized, to be forgotten, to be denied basic dignity 🕊️. You have known pain, and you have built communities based on love ❤️, care 🤝, and survival 🌈.

We are not asking for much. We are asking for the right to live 🌍, to feed our children 🍲, to survive this siege 🚧.

I hope it’s okay that I’m reaching out. My name is Rola, and I’m a mother of two from Gaza. Life used to be simple—filled with laughter, home-cooked meals, walks with my children, and ice cream on weekends. But since October, everything has changed.

We lost our home in a bombing. One moment, we were sipping coffee on the balcony… the next, the house shook, windows shattered, and our world collapsed. We had to flee with nothing—no clothes, no toys, no sense of safety.

My children still ask about their beds, their books, their quiet little room. I don’t have answers. All I can do is hold them and keep going.

We’re now raising funds to evacuate—or, if returning becomes possible, to rebuild. I just want to give my children a future that isn’t defined by fear and loss.

My name is Shada, I’m 24 years old, a new nurse graduate from Gaza 🇵🇸, and I’m reaching out in the hope that you might take a moment to hear my story.

I gave birth to my baby boy, Adam , in the middle of this war. He is now 5 months old. We’ve lost everything—our home was destroyed, and my husband’s work as a water truck driver is gone. We have evacuated multiple times, and today we live in a crowded tent camp 🏕️, not knowing where we’ll go next.

On top of everything, Adam was born with clubfoot and needs urgent surgery 🏥 that cannot be done in Gaza—not now, not even before the war. He also needs special medical boots afterward.

We’re trying to raise funds to evacuate to safety and give our son a real chance at life.

a/n - y'all i'm back!!!! i'm so fucking sorry it took me this long but writer's block is insane. i hope you like this, ik it's kinda short but i was inspired atm. hope the people who still follow me bc of haikyu like this 🙏

You enter the campus gymnasium at exactly 7:15 am on a Sunday, wearing the atrocious referee uniform and holding a cup of iced coffee in one hand.

The Jackals have already claimed one side of the court, doing their stretches while they wait for their opponent. Today was supposed to be a friendly practice match, nothing special, so your superiors sent you to officiate it. At 7 fucking in the morning. On a Sunday. For free.

With a deep sigh, you slump in the chair by the desk meant for the paperwork and the scoreboard.

"Morning, ref." Meian greets you, professional as ever.

"Mmhi." You yawn behind your hand and get out your whistle. "Couldn't you have picked a normal time? Seriously, do none of you value sleep?"

He flashes you an apologetic smile. "This slot was the only available one today. Sorry."

"Whatever. The Frogs aren't here yet?"

"No, but they're on the way."

You nod and he returns to his team, handing out the balls.

Your eyes feel so heavy you almost fall asleep sitting until a rough voice tinged with sleep comes from above you.

"I hope your lack of sleep won't affect your ability to do your work properly."

Sakusa's words make you snort as you look up.

"Are you insulting me, Kiyoomi? I could give you a yellow card for that, you know?"

His face remains unimpressed.

"You can't blame me for being worried. It's very irresponsible for you to come to work not well rested."

"Careful, you sound like you care about my health."

Your smirk makes Sakusa let out a puff of air through his nose.

"Don't flatter yourself. I only care about the game."

"Mmmhm."

The game goes by smoothly, the guys are having fun and you're doing your job well despite the fatigue you feel from lack of sleep.

After four sets they finally decide to call it and start stretching.

You come down from the stand with a yawn, the only thing on your mind returning to your warm and cozy bed.

Once you've changed and left the gym, you head straight to the parking lot but a familiar voice calls out behind you.

"You're good."

Stopping dead in your tracks, you blink, turning to face him and trying to decide if you're hallucinating from the lack of sleep or not.

"Sorry?"

"I'm not saying it again."

You blink again. "Right...um, thanks?"

Your car keys jingle when you take them out and turn around, already giving up on the conversation.

"Do you want to work on that assignment together?"

Again, you pause.

"For real?"

As usual, Sakusa's expression betrays nothing.

"The professor said we have to do it in pairs. You're good at the subject and tolerable. I don't see an issue."

You consider the offer for a few seconds before smiling. "Alright. It's a date."

Maybe it's the lack of sleep that causes you to wink before you turn around, maybe it's something else, but either way, the sight of Sakusa's ears becoming red will stay in your memory for a while.

Listen I’m new to hockey but a long time Jason lover. And I feel in my heart of hearts that man is a goalie.

I can see him getting in players faces when they go to shoot and scaring them so bad, the type of goalie you cant look away from for a second.

his shots at goal stats are absolutely nuts, no one can get through him and hes lightning quick on catching pucks. His eyes never leave the puck.

whenever i see posts describing him as a brick wall my brain can help but conjure up a goalie uniform!! thats what helped inspire the post!
