This piece was written for Cyber: A Klance Sci-fi Zine. The story is based on the Talent world of Anne McCaffrey - specifically the Tower and the Hive series. The series focuses on the Gwyn-Raven and Raven-Lyon families of telepaths. It’s a great series and I loved writing Klance into this world! This whole story flowed onto the screen so easily!

A Surprise Omega

Summary: Since alphas are the dominant and powerful secondary sex, all pro heroes are alphas. Those born with lower-level quirks or quirkless always present as omega or beta. Katsuki Bakugo planned on being hero partners with his childhood friend, Izuku Midoriya, until that friend turned out quirkless. After years of bullying, Katsuki presents as alpha and finally understands that he can be with an omega Izuku in another way. He wants to repair their relationship, but then Izuku makes it into UA with an insanely powerful quirk. He was an alpha all along? Or is he?

Izuku Midoriya presented as an omega, but was given a powerful quirk. He hides the fact that he's an omega like he hides the origin of One For All - until his heat comes. He has to go through it, and omegas need the presence of an alpha. With a whole class full of alphas, who will he choose?
