Shame doesn’t shout—it whispers. It hides in the corners of the mind, replaying every mistake, every betrayal, every time you weren’t enough. It convinces you to close off… to isolate… to believe that healing is for others—but not for you.

This song is a mirror for many survivors. Every lyric—“I hurt myself today…”—echoes the silent suffering of those who carry childhood pain into adulthood, who smile while screaming on the inside, who learned to wear masks because vulnerability felt dangerous.

But even here… God is not afraid of our shadows.

Jesus didn’t come for the flawless. He came for the bruised, the broken, the ashamed. He took the nails not just for our sins—but for our sorrow. “Come to me, all who are weary…” He said. And He meant it.

This one’s for the women who loved hard and got burned. Who gave soft hearts to rough hands. Who ran—not because they were weak, but because they had to survive.

I’ve been her. Walls like a maze. Quick to run. Slow to trust. Not because I’m broken, but because I’ve seen what betrayal looks like in daylight.
