The production of Swan Upon Leda is fucking crazy. Do you guys remember when it came out and people said it didnt go hard enough?????? Girl. The artistic stroke of genius to do the whole song in a very gentle murmur thats barely enough to carry a tune and then backing vocals of hozier performing the same song at full volume just fucking screaming and wailing but turned way down low so theyre the same volume as him doing it as a lullaby?????? I love hozier live as much as the next person but thats a truly inspired move
