The Doctor does love me.  And what a charming boyfriend he can be...’ He hummed softly as he folded his arms over his chest. Evidently he’s rather enjoying getting under the companions skin. “Do you think he has the abilty to love you the same way you love him? He notices, trust me. He just does’nt react. Every single one of you are like...vapor. One moment you’re there and the next you’re gone and replaced by a tin dog.” 

“You’re telling yourself that little lie now.” Martha clicked her tongue, still in mild disbelief that she had to stay in the same room as him till the Doctor came to fetch him. “I’ve never needed or wanted you. In fact the only reason you’re not regenerating right now is because the Doctor would hate that I tried to kill one of his beloved frenemies.” Catching up on paperwork in the binder in her lap. Propped up on her knee. Her legs crossed and the foot in the air was tapping–it was a nervous tick of her’s.
