I want a story about a king whose son is prophesied to kill him so the king is like “whatever what am I supposed to do, kill my own kid wtf is wrong with you” so he just raises him as normal, doesn’t even tell him about the prophecy, and instead of some convoluted twist of events that leads to the king’s murder the son grows up and when the king is very old and dying and in excruciating pain the kid is just like alright I'mma put him out of his misery.

Just thought of cute petnames for clove and neon to use for eachother
Neon uses "my sweet/little butterfly" (maybe the butterfly in tagalog depending on how it sounds/is spelt) for clove
And clove uses "my spark" for neon

When I was in my teens, I used to make an entire magic system with 360+ unique spells, ordered in magic schools and categories, and it boggles my mind that I basically reinvented DnD mechanics, even down to metamagic.
I wanted to make a wiki about it but I don't have time for it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The point was to try to encompass every "superpower" I could think of into a magic system.
I even got lore related to it all, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna simply reuse it all for OC worldbuilding. Ngl the fun part was naming all the spells, symbols and coming up with the logic of it all.

I need to get fucked, bred, just be pounded with my face pressed against a pillow, ass up, cock pounding and thrusting stupidly into my dripping cunt, hearing their moans match with mine~
Yanking on my leash and making me choke and whimper as I feel them go faster, rougher, harder clenching around them, feeling how their cock throbs inside me as they tell me not to cum yet. Feeling them press their pretty mouth against my back as I cry and beg, as they bite me and mark me as there own
Telling me what a good girl I am as they unload themselves inside, as they fill me up. Calling me a slut and a pervert and the prettiest pet cumdump they've ever seen I sob into the pillow as they start fucking me again~
(This post is about queer t4t sex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

hey boy don't kill yourself. green's dictionary of slang is available online and allows you to explore 500 years of english vulgarity. you can search by part of speech, source, time period, etymology, and usage. there's a whole category for gay slang. they even have specific citations listed so you can see the exact context for yourself. boy did you know that in 1927 "to kneel at the altar" was slang for "to sodomize"

This story starts, like many others, hunched over a desk scribbling away onto pages upon pages, running on about 3 hours of sleep and enough caffeine to kill a regular person, Clove sighs "hmm how can i make this story work..", They begin chewing on their pen in frustration.
Clove begins to write down excitedly as they get an idea, before grumbling in annoyance "god that wont work either" as they scrumple up the paper and toss it in the vgaue direction of their overflowing bin.
"I really hope i can get this finished in time for our session" Clove thinks to themself, sitting upright to stretch and recoiling as the sunlight shining through the narrow gaps between the blinds of their room, they hiss as they close the blinds and lazily slumps back into their chair.
Knock knock
Clove flinches from the sudden sound and responds "One sec!", getting up once again from the comfyness of their chair, trying their best to not slip on any scribbled up papers on the floor as they stumble towards the door.
As Clove opens up the door they mutter "I'm a bit busy so this better not take long..", they see the figure of a familiar man illuminated by the florescent lights of the headquarters hallways. "Gekko!! I've nae seen you in a while bud how ya holding up?" Clove exclaims as they leap towards Gekko for a friendly hug.
Gekko bringing his arms around Clove to reciprocate their hug, responds "Oye! I'm doing good cuate, we just got back from a mission so i am all worn out ya feel?". Bringing one of his hands to pet Cloves head like one would with a cute pet cat, continuing his greeting he questions "You okay man? You look like you haven't slept since i last saw you.."
Clove while enjoying the pats on the head wearily utters back "Aye, well.. you could say that again haha.." they chuckle to try to ease Gekkos worry, "Just tryin' to finish the planning for the next game session, might be a bit behind.." they blurt out. "Wait.. 'we'?" Clove asks.
A figure of vibrant blue and yellow takes a step forward from behind Gekko, they proclaim "Hoy! Clove!! Been a while right?" The sparking Neon puts a hand on Gekkos shoulder to lean on, "I've not seen you since our mission together a week or two ago, no?" contiuing her reply to the shocked Clove.
As if brought back to life by seeing their crush so close in the flesh, Clove gushed…

Random linguistic worldbuilding: A language with six sets of pronouns, which are set by one's current state of existence. There's a separate pronoun for people who are alive, people who are dead, and potential future people who are yet to be born, and the ambiguous ones of "may or may not be alive or aleady dead", "may or may not have even been born yet", and the ultimate general/ambiguous all-covering one that covers all ambiguous states.
The culture has a specific defined term for that tragic span of time when a widow keeps accidentally referring to their spouse with living pronouns. New parents-to-be dropping the happy surprise news of a pregnancy by referring to their future child with the "is yet to be born" pronoun instead of a more ambiguous one and waiting for the "wait what did you just say?" reactions.
Someone jokingly referring to themselves with the dead person pronouns just to highlight how horrible their current hangover is. A notorious aspiring ladies' man who keeps trying to pursue women in their 20s despite of approaching middle age fails to notice the insult when someone asks him when he's planning to get married, and uses the pronoun that implies that his ideal future bride may not even be born yet.
A mother whose young adult child just moved away from home for the first time, who continues to dramatically refer to their child with "may or may not be already dead" until the aforementioned child replies to her on facebook like "ma stop telling people I'm dead" and having her respond with "well how could I possibly know that when you don't even write to us? >:,C"

Fantasy worldbuilding: the other races consider humans deceitful and scheming to the core, and there is one example of human behavior that they name each time they warn their young: Humans poison trap their own food storages. Anyone who has been to human residences has seen it, somehow they all do it - to deter thieves, naturally, though some think it is also to avoid suspicion when poisoning a guest or visitor.
Only members of one's own household would know which meats have been rubbed with poisonous plants, and which bulbs grown in the garden will kill you. And they're all stored right next to the proper edible food! And the humans never mistakenly poison themselves this way, they are far too cunning to fall into their own traps.
If you ask a human about this, they will be baffled and insist they've never heard of this custom in their lives. While they may suppose that some other human cultures might do something so wicked, each one reassures asking visitors that their people do not do anything like that. And the truth is, they really don't. Not on purpose, at least.
It's just that humans are the only ones immune to garlic, mint, and many other plants and herbs that are poison to all the other races.

how to find literally any post on a blog in seconds (on desktop)
there are so many posts about ~tumblr is so broken, you can’t find any post on your own blog, it’s impossible, bluhrblub~
I am here to tell you otherwise! it is in fact INCREDIBLY easy to find a post on a blog if you’re on desktop/browser and you know what you’re doing:
url.tumblr.com/tagged/croissant will bring up EVERY post on the blog tagged with the specific and exact phrase #croissant. every single post, every single time. in chronological order starting with the most recent post. note: it will not find #croissants or that time you made the typo #croidnssants. for a tag with multiple words, it’s just /tagged/my-croissant and it will show you everything with the exact phrase #my croissant
url.tumblr.com/tagged/croissant/chrono will bring up EVERY post on the blog tagged with the exact phrase #croissant, but it will show them in reverse order with the oldest first
url.tumblr.com/search/croissant isn’t as perfect at finding everything, but it’s generally loads better than the search on mobile. it will find a good array of posts that have the word croissant in them somewhere. could be in the body of the post (op captioned it “look at my croissant”) or in the tags (#man I want a croissant). it won’t necessarily find EVERYTHING like /tagged/ does, but I find it’s still more reliable than search on mobile. you can sometimes even find posts by a specific user by searching their url. also, unlike whatever random assortment tumblr mobile pulls up, it will still show them in a more logically chronological order
url.tumblr.com/day/2020/11/05 will show you every post on the blog from november 5th, 2020, in case you’re taking a break from croissants to look for destiel election memes
url.tumblr.com/archive/ is search paradise. easily go to a particular month and see all posts as thumbnails! search by post type! search by tags but as thumbnails now
url.tumblr.com/archive/filter-by/audio will show you every audio post on your blog (you can also filter by other post types). sometimes a little imperfect if you’re looking for a video when the op embedded the video in a text post instead of posting as a video post, etc
url.tumblr.com/archive/tagged/croissant will show you EVERY post on the blog tagged with the specific and exact phrase #croissant, but it will show you them in the archive thumbnail view divided by months. very useful if you’re looking for a specific picture of a croissant that was reblogged 6 months ago and want to be able to scan for it quickly
url.tumblr.com/archive/filter-by/audio/tagged/croissant will show you every audio post tagged with the specific phrase #croissant (you can also filter by photo or text instead, because I don’t know why you have audio posts tagged croissant)
the tag system on desktop tumblr is GENUINELY amazing for searching within a specific blog!
caveat: this assumes a person HAS a desktop theme (or “custom theme”) enabled. a “custom theme” is url.tumblr.com, as opposed to tumblr.com/url. I’ve heard you have to opt-into the former now, when it used to be the default, so not everyone HAS a custom theme where you can use all those neat url tricks.
Tumblr media
if the person doesn’t have a “custom theme” enabled, you’re beholden to the search bar. still, I’ve found the search bar on tumblr.com/url is WAY more reliable than search on mobile. for starters, it tends to bring posts up in a sensible order, instead of dredging up random posts from 2013 before anything else
if you’re on mobile, I’m sorry. godspeed and good luck finding anything. (my one tip is that if you’re able to click ON a tag rather than go through the search bar, you’ll have better luck. if your mutual has recently reblogged a post tagged #croissant, you can click #croissant and it’ll bring up everything tagged #croissant just like /tagged/croissant. but if there’s no readily available tag to click on, you have to rely on the mobile search bar and its weird bizarre whims)
