Obsessed with characters who portray themselves as worse than they are. Who are lying to everyone including themselves about it. People generally assume if someone's lying about themselves they're trying to look better but sometimes they're trying to look worse. They attribute agency to where they had none, add intend to accidents, try to convince everyone that this is something they did instead of something that happened to them.

Love at first sight- on James’s end, at least. It took me a little while.

James loves them- he’s especially fond of yellow roses and bleeding hearts. He gets them for me occasionally, but I tend to prefer more practical gifts. He always enjoys when I get them for him, though.

We tend to play card games more often. We learned our lesson with Monopoly.

🍝 ~ do you like to cook together? how does it usually go down in the kitchen when you do? is it coordinates or chaotic?

James likes to be alone when he’s cooking. If I’m ever in there when hy’s busy, it shoos me out.

⛅️ ~ what’s you and james’s favorite weather? whatever the answer is, what do you like to do during this time?

We both like thunderstorms- they’re calming. We’ll usually just cuddle or watch a movie- sometimes James will stand on the balcony for a while and then the whole apartment smells like wet dog.

🎯 ~ does james have any hidden skills or talented that you’ve picked up on?

He’s surprisingly good at fighting games. It just didn’t really seem like the type at first.

🌈 - how do you and james identify? how do you support each other? do you celebrate these identities together?

I’m a cisgender gay man, he’s transmasculine/genderqueer and homoflexible. I must admit, he had to explain some of that to me when we first met- but I understand it now, for the most part. It seems to like when I call hymn handsome. We’re going to be at a pride festival in a week or so (though James will be tabling for part of it)

His tail wagging is very cute. He t-tries to hide it when it’s pretending not to seem overly excited, but it n-never works.

Hy’s said he likes the way I adjust my t-tie when I’m flustered. I’m not sure I understand it, but I d-don’t understand a lot about him.

🍕 - whenever you don’t feel like cooking, what’s you and james’s go-to order?

Well, I don’t eat- I t-tend to get a soda or smoothie if possible. J-James likes to get Taco Bell and Chinese takeout.

🎁 - what’s your favorite way to show affection / appreciation towards james? have you noticed what he leans towards for you?

I try to c-compliment hymn a lot. It always gets very flustered. He’s far more physically affectionate t-than me- he likes to lay in my lap when we’re on the couch, things like that.
