After 3,000 years, my Dr. Habit drawing is finally done! I probably made him more Muppet-like than I originally wanted to, but he still looks adorable and that's what matters.

I apologize for deleting the last WIP, I needed to change some things with my Dr. Habit drawing. Mainly, his hands because hands are hard.

Anyway, here's an updated WIP of this oddly attractive adorable gay Muppet dude along with the color palette I'm using. I'm gonna add more textures and maybe some light shading.

I should also stop taking pictures of my tablet screen and screenshot my WIPs instead.

I might need to take a bit of time to grieve. My workplace, Joann Fabrics is closing down. It was the first job I've had that didn't have a toxic work environment, unlike my previous jobs which was at a local grocery store and Walmart (although I've had better memories at the former).

But I'm staying until the bitter end. It's the least I can do to show my appreciation for all they've done, including helping me recover from all the mental turmoil Walmart inflicted on me.

It's gonna hurt, and I'm hoping that maybe I can keep in contact with my former coworkers. Or better yet, at least a few of us find jobs at the same place.

One thing is for sure, I'll NEVER return to Walmart. Not that they'd want me back anyway after I had that meltdown.

Well my last day at Walmart turned out to be on the 13th rather than the 18th. I didn't finish the series of vent art like I wanted to, but here's what was supposed to be the last drawing.

Context: Butterflies are sometimes used as symbols of freedom and rebirth so I drew two kinds of butterflies that are found in my state of Nebraska (Red Admiral and Painted Lady). The vest is supposed to be nailed to a wall/gravestone. The dates shown are my first and last day at Walmart.

Apparently my weird ass keeps finding certain characters adorable despite they probably weren't intended to be in the first place. Of course this is coming from a person who thinks spiders are adorable.
