I adore this recent trend (if that's the right word) of letting an orchestra play classical music on a festival. It's magical to see thousands of festival-goers going absolutely wild on Beethoven. Mosh/circlepits, crowd surfing. It's wonderful to see the orchestra and the audience having the time of their lives.

Snape is clearly bitter and resentful about the fact that Wormtail can speak to Voldemort himself if he wants to, indicating he does that often and there's nothing Snape can do about it. Combined with the fact that Wormtail often eavesdrops which Snape hates, there's no doubt he's there so he can keep an eye on Snape.

Even Snape acknowledges Voldemort didn't trust him at first when he returned. It's unlikely he trusted him completely till he killed Dumbledore.

No one’s even talking about whether Snape thinks Voldemort trusts him or not. That’s something you’ve completely made up and thrown into the mix. The actual point is that in that scene, Snape is very clearly toying with Wormtail, provoking him deliberately and with full intent.

You’re mixing up concepts that have nothing to do with each other. This isn’t about trust dynamics with Voldemort, it’s about power play and psychological domination, and Snape is absolutely in control of that interaction. Let’s not pretend otherwise.
