tiers rose gently, eyes fluttering closed as she reminisced on the hell noxus put her through. before her mind wandered to more poisonous thoughts as they often did, raw lips parted to reveal a sheepish and almost forlorn smile. 

           “ well you know what they say.                      trick me once, shame on you.                      trick me twice ----

                              shame on me. ”

a bitter but warm-hearted chuckle shook riven’s shoulders as the boy continued, and she slapped a soft palm against his shoulder. normally, innocence and naivety was repulsing to her; but gazing into those deep brown orbs she felt inspired and hopeful. though, the passion for noxus was depleted almost immediately after he continued.

                     “ redeemed? i doubt it.                                 i have some... VAGUE plans for noxus of my                                 own if you’d like to hear, however. ”

she continued to search through the cabinets until she recognized an old box and snatched it eagerly, waving it in front of ekko’s eyes. 

                   “ have you gotten any better at cooking?                       i can’t say i have. ”
