Just someone who likes a lot of things. In particular: the Twelve Kingdoms, Battle Royale (novel, mostly), Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass, Esperanto, books. I also sometimes write really, really short poems. Really short.

#EsperantoWeekend
phonotactless, vongruen, and I are going to spend this entire weekend teaching ourselves ESPERANTO! I will be trying to post things and practice writing this weekend (and hopefully in the future), but if you are studying Esperanto or know someone who is, let me know some good resources or say hi in Esperanto. That’d be great! :)

I got a notice that you liked my post that was the reblog of the broken no-notes post. How did this work? This weird post has my mind burgling with curiosity. I tried liking the post, but it won't go in my likes.
Interesting; it's in my likes. :O
What a curious post this is!

The Twelve Kingdoms: Youko
I just feel the need to say how important Nakajima Youko is. This whole narrative is so important to me.Youko has one of the most real and satisfying character arcs I’ve ever seen. She starts off a submissive and passive teenage girl, wanting to please everyone. But she goes on a journey, where finds out who she is outside of the pressure to conform she experienced from the people around her, and society in general.
She grows into this strong and compassionate ruler, who’ll fight tooth and nail for the rights of others. She genuinely cares so much about people, and won’t tolerate oppression, because she knows wants like to feel small and helpless, and be forced into a role.
She takes steps backwards, and she faces many obstacles, but she’s always trying to do better. She never gives up trying to learn a better way for herself and her people. Youko is so important, guys!

Mi fartas bone. :]
Kaj bonvenon al Esperantujo!
-
Eraroj: ‘kiom’ devus esti ‘kiel’; ‘vin’ devus esti ‘vi’ en tiu frazo; 'Mi komencis lerni Esperanto.’ devus esti ‘Mi komencis lerni Esperanton.; kaj ‘langvo’ devus esti ‘lingvon’.
Mi komprenas, ke la akuzativo estas malfacila en la komenco. Sed bone! :D

The cycle of a book’s life is just... So beautiful. :’D
Have you ever wondered where books come from?
Well then, let me show you, because that’s what I do for a living.
Right now, it’s this time of the year, and the little ones have just freshly hatched:

You’ll notice they’re still blind and naked when they hatch. So I make them little coats to keep them warm during their first winter:

See how they happily line up to put them on:

See? Better. Now they’re ready to go and explore the world.

And if they make it through the winter and we take good care of them, they will grow up to be strong and wise like their older fellows:

So, in case you were ever wondering, now you know.
