So Trump’s idiotic birthday parade fell flat on its face due to low turnout and rain. Meanwhile the ‘No Kings’ protests had record turnout with some cities boasting five figure numbers, despite the threat of violence from Trump friendly law enforcement.

Remember the reason why fascists and authoritarians have these military parades is to create the illusion of power. To make them seem more influential and impressive than they actually are. Then, Ncuti Gatwa, the first black (Jo Martin was not a main character, but i would LOVE for her to be the new Doctor ) Doctor, had to share his introduction with, again, fan favourite (white) David Tennant, who has an entire variant of regeneration created just to justify it (did we ever get a reason as to why bigeneration exists?)
