various random/fun details about my current dnd character, because: why not?

scared of the moon (more so whatever's on/in the moon due to trauma)

in a fucked-up love triangle so bad it's referred to as the "3d love shape" (2 other pcs are involved in it as well. there are. so many npcs involved.)

has a dragonborn breath weapon (lightning damage) because my dm, for some reason even god doesn't know, allowed me to make my character's "species" using a homebrew method I found and modified

3 levels of 2024 Bard (dance)/5 levels of 2024 Barbarian (zealot)

solider background (re: moon thing)

mainly uses a Halberd but dabbles in barbed wire covered wooden bats + brass knuckles made to look like ring pops

has a workplace injury barbie set

sometimes see ghosts (re: moon thing again)

involved with the party's old boss who was involved with the party's new boss (re: 3d love shape)

(a mixture of 2014, 2024, and a bit of homebrew fuckery was used for character creation)

you don't know how badly you roll in DND until you do a solo campaign and then have to fix a tpk with a surprise fourth party member because: -2 of the 3 party members rolled below the enemy for initiative -blood hunter rolled a 3 with a -1 modifier. -rogue tiefling misses a poison spray -rogue gets sent to 0 hp in one hit -blood hunter with the sentinel feat misses the reaction attack -blood hunter's attempt to give disadvantage with a saving throw gets met with a natural 20 -rogue gets sent to 4 hp, wizard gets sent to 0 hp, blood hunter gets sent to 6 hp. -blood hunter misses (again) -rogue gets sent to 0 hp -blood hunter misses (again) (again) -blood hunter gets sent to 2 hp -blood hunter misses (again) (again) (again) safe to say a party of level 1's is certainly an experience anyway, if anyone is curious about this solo campaign, feel free to ask questions, i'll try and update as more misadventures occur
