Aizawa's healing ability is outright superhuman and I can't decide if this is another case of Ohba does not understand injury duration, or if he is so determined to avenge L that he simply refuses to die from things that should have killed and/or incapacitated him.

Second option is the only reasonable option, and you know why, because iirc, Ohba did say that he wanted to kill Aizawa, but just couldn't and so he kept him in. I think that was the soul of the actual Aizawa that forced Ohba to keep him alive and to fight first with his boyfriend and, after his death, for his late boyfriend. I don't accept any other explanation.

one of these days im going to write that post about how Where is the Justice is a good song, and one that actually works fairly well for Light, but only if its in the pre-existing context of his personality and character, and how removing it and listening to it as an ‘i want’ (or ‘i hate’ ig) song for him doesnt work because it has to be understood that he is misinterpreting his own ideals to appear more convincing and favourable to his class, and seeing it as a standalone explanation of his real motivations for becoming Kira will give a completely skewed understanding of of Light as a person
