Evie: We're not SUPPOSED to like a lot of things that are really, really fun. I suppose gossip is just another one of those things! And oooh, I love BeastFeed! I do quizzes or keep up with what the new trends supposedly are more often than the gossip though. I can only see people guessing at who Chad Charming is dating this week so many times.

Evie: I know, but still, I'd go with you if you wanted. I know approaching people about this can be hard and if it'd be easier with someone by your side, I don't mind making it obvious that I spilled the tea. There doesn't have to be logic when it comes to fashion, Ben!

Evie: And absolutely, I care to enlighten you! It's as simple as the fact that tiny hats are fabulous! It's hard to explain why but every once in a while, tiny versions of regular clothes pop up in the cycles of fashion, like purses that too tiny to use, or teeny tiny crop tops! Tiny hats are just another extension of that. It's something that pops up more often for women, though. Men's fashion tends to stay either standard-sized or oversized. Like... cargo pants. Ugh, I just shuddered typing that out.

Ben: You're not wrong, but now I'm wondering what fun things you think you're not supposed to be doing. For me, it's enjoying Talking Dragons too much. People act as if it's as bad as being a Nickelback fan!

Ben: You don't like cargo pants? But you have so many pockets to fit things into! They may not be the most beautiful pants I've ever worn in my life, but I can carry around pretty much everything I need to make it through a day if I'm wearing those. Even on a busy day filled with what you guys like to call 'king stuff.'

Evie: The Faciliers may or may not have access to some of their father's tarot cards. I know that Celia used to do readings back on the Isle but I'm not sure how attached she is to them. I could go with you to ask if you'd like!

Evie: Or if you'd rather ask her by yourself, that's fine! Just remember that you didn't hear it from me. This can be our little secret 😘

Ben: I know that society tells us we're not SUPPOSED to like to gossip, but... the popularity of BeastFeed indicates people have different opinions on that.

Ben: Well, it wouldn't be much of a secret who told me if you went with me! I should have guessed that, I think, but instead I was wondering if they had magic in their hats. Otherwise, I can't really understand the logic in wearing ones that are so tiny?

Ben: You're more interested in fashion than I am; care to enlighten me?

We did, actually! Somebody asked us to help them serenade a girl that they’ve got their eye on and we usually practice in the evening so morning was the only time we had free. I’m sorry we got into your dreams, but I’m honestly even sorrier that so many people around here like the idea of enlisting the marching band to help shoot their shot. We have competitions to get ready for!

That’s okay, I had no business sleeping in that late, anyway! I’m sorry they’re keeping you so busy; do you think you’d be more excited about being used to woo people if they were doing it during the off season? Because it could be a good way to keep from being rusty, and I’ve got to say, even after I made a fool of myself serenading Mal, I still think the whole concept of that kind of thing can be fun and romantic. Also, since I should know what’s going on in my kingdom, and that extends to people’s romantic lives... any chance I could get a hint at who the performance is for?
