This whole "love people with body hair because I'm a pervert 💜" is the same as only ever being positive towards fat or trans people because they turn you on, it's actually fucking weird. Please be normal about bodies.

Interrupting our theme of musicians to bring you a fashion icon:

Richmond Rockson from Germany! These are the pics I saved as personal inspiration as I rebuild my closet with masc fashion, but he has tons of gorgeous androgynous looks! 😍

if u were to setup a phone from 0, what would u do? i am talking about extensions, configurations etc for optimal use
My version of optimal is very likely not your version of optimal because, for instance, I start by uninstalling or force stopping all mapping apps.
I've got *counts* 25 apps that I use, that includes "messages" and "camera." If I only look at apps that I installed that aren't part of the system, it's 17 apps.
There are a *lot* of standard-use apps that don't function on my phone because a lot of standard-use apps want permissions that I don't give them.
As much as I possibly can, I treat my phone like a browser that can make phone calls. If I watch youtube, I do it in the browser. If I need a map, I look it up in the browser. If I want to look at a restaurant menu, I do it in the browser.
So my advice is:
Uninstall everything possible. Uninstall Chrome. Uninstall the google search bar. Force stop what you can't uninstall (google play store, youtube, etc.)
Install Firefox mobile. Add the Ublock origin and Bitwarden extensions. Install the Bitwarden App. Install Signal. Install Protonmail.
Go through the apps section of the settings and turn off unnecessary permissions for every app. (My browser doesn't need access to my camera. I don't use QR codes to go to websites and I don't want to).
Turn off location in your global settings. Turn off Bluetooth. Turn off NFC. Turn off nearby device scanning. Turn off printing. Turn off quickshare. Turn off "find my phone." Turn off Biometrics. Turn off diagnostics.
Set a passcode on the lockscreen. Passcode, not face ID or fingerprint. Remember, you've turned off biometrics.
Your goal is to turn off, uninstall, and restrict anything that is not either vital or convenient enough that it's worth it. "Camera" is convenient enough that it's worth it to me. "Calendar" is not.
While I'm reminding people that I'm an insane person, I also don't do cloud backups of my phone and anything that I download from my phone happens via a USB cable. I also don't stream music, I installed the Phonograph app and I have music on my phone. You should definitely have music stored on your phone because you should own the media you've purchased.
I really hate phones. I hate phones, I hate apps, I hate the expectation that everyone will download the app and will create an account for the app and will agree to the mile-long ToS of the app and will give permissions to the app, I hate notifications, I hate short form video content, I hate pandora and spotify and itunes, I hate carrying a GPS locator in my pocket. I hate that my phone is too big for most of my pockets, while I'm at it, and I hate that I can't pull the battery without significant effort and I hate that it has gotten rid of most of the buttons and I hate that it doesn't have a keyboard and I hate google and I hate apple and I hate the demand that phones make on our attention.
But, once you've turned off everything possible, a phone can make a decent camera and mp3 player and browser that also lets you call your mom and text your friends (through signal, if your mom and your friends are cool).
Phone bad.
If you'd like to get a sampler of what this is like without going full bore, try turning off location for a couple weeks and see how you do.
Also this advice is for androids if you have an iphone I can't help you i'm sorry, turn off everything you can and install firefox focus and install signal.
Note: every time I make a post like this people talk to me about f-droid but I don't want to do phone better, I want to not do phone. If you want to get into the open source phone community there are a lot of people out there who have done some cool stuff but I don't pay much attention to it because phone bad.
