Glitch Variable Font
This project explores the intersection of variable typography and glitch aesthetics through animated visuals. I began by animating a variable font and exporting it as an MP4. The video was then processed using Live Mosher to create glitch effects. After that, I brought the glitched footage into Adobe After Effects, where I layered and color-shifted the visuals using blending modes to intensify the visual tension. The final output was exported as a looping GIF.
Workflow:
Animate the variable font
Export as MP4
Import the video into Live Mosher to apply glitch effects
Load the glitched output into Adobe After Effects
Duplicate layers, adjust colors and layer modes to enhance the visual impact
Export the final result as a looping GIF
