This was a spectacular day although the fishing was a little average, caught kahawai, snapper and blue cod. The drone captured Channel Island beautifully. Gotta love New Zealand - er, I mean Middle Earth

This was my first go at using a drone in my fishing report. The whole experience gave new meaning to the phrase ‘skin in the game’. Have learnt a bit more since then and am getting the hang of flying the drone, it’s scary flying it over the water as I have heard of numerous stories of drones being lost in the sea......
