Another art tracer around

Today a follower of mine along with writer-person happened to come across this artist (who focuses on drawing Tokyo Ghoul art) and we noticed that mostly of their content that it’s claimed to be from their own it’s traced/copied.

We went through the blog and discovered many different arts that we recognized from our own fandom.

Below, some of the artists who got traced and the comparison pics. (We couldn’t track them all and we weren’t going to source some of the original art without a link of their artists but some of you might figure and even recognize them if you scroll in their art tag. NSFW pics ahead.):

jackykisaragi sorry if this whole post makes you feel uncomfortable and I let you know that my intention is not to attack you, but I couldn’t let this go. Don’t you know that tracing an artist work is wrong right and it’s basically cheating?

You are cheating your followers making them believe that those drawings are 100% yours, when they clearly aren’t.

You can trace for practicing and that’s good, a lot of artists do that, but DON’T upload it. You’re taking credit that doesn’t belongs to you by doing that. Just keep it to yourself.

As an artist, how would you feel if I took one of your pics, traced them, posted online claiming they’re completely drawn by myself when they aren’t? Not a good feeling seeing someone else taking your credit right?

If you wanna use someone’s art you must ask them for their permission first, keeping in mind that they might don’t give it to you. But in the case they allow it, you must credit the original artist in your submission and add a link to their art.

I hope you realize that what you’re doing is not correct and you should apology and take them down because this’ copyright/intellectual property infringement.
