Stuffies you say? Boy do we have a lot. I'll limit it to the ones with actual names given to them but far from all the favorites of parts (most of whom are actually adults)

We have Knuckles (obvious - favorite of mostly the Sonic fictives), Floofer (the bidoof - flaire wanted it so bad so it's hers), Princess (the leafeon - myla + kal share this as theirs), Waffles (the snowy owl - afterlife's one), Eli (the elephant; yes it's a pun name - just nostalgic), Jasmin (the rainbow horse - also a nostalgic one), and honorary mention to our pillow pet (yall remember those?) who due to having the logo of a college i don't want to show the actual front of but we cuddle it every night to sleep

We probably have about 50+ stuffed animals scattered around our room or are in storage in the closet

Syscourse please tell me about your favorite stuffies if you have them.

I'm cuddling with mine right now and it's the best. It's a great horned owl we named Who(as an inside joke). Picture time :)

The main taste difference we've noticed is some alters can handle spice really well and others absolutely will die if they try to eat the same food

Yes, we've written two different fics related to DID specifically. We do want to write more in the future but we're starting our second job again so who knows when that might happen. But if you want to read what we have (please do read tags before reading):

Let's see... in general for our system a lot of our nonhuman alters experience phantom limbs of their nonhuman characteristics when they're in main front

For a more specific about an alter answer: Actvia (a demon alter) is our insys wedding officiant. She does all the weddings. A demon. It's really ironic considering a lot of our early trauma comes from religion

21. 💊Do you have anything that helps your system, medically?

Like to help the system itself function? Not really. We've been meaning to get a new therapist but it's too hard to make phone calls so yeah. In general though our other disability aids help certain alters who have it worse than others for symptom presentation (ex. Hearing aid + cane)

25. 📖 What's your favorite reading material for system related things?

We don't read much anymore so I really don't have much of an answer for this. I'm always open to reading suggestions but no guarantee they'll get read in a timely manner

Since apparently littlecourse is back, here's something a little of ours made for the occasion a while ago:

"Littles are children and need to be kept safe from adult things. They need to be treated as helpless children because that's what they are."

Sucks to be you. I'm gonna drive a pallet jack at work and you can't stop me just because internally my age is 5. If I wanna drink, no one is gonna stop me cause the body is 22. I'm not a helpless little uwu baby you need to protect i can handle myself. Guess what? I'm actually a pretty big protector in the system. Guess I shouldn't be protecting us since apparently I have to be a helpless child

Not all littles want to be seen as actual children. I can function as an adult. We've had other littles front solo for a job before and handle themselves fine. If your system treats littles like children and that works for you, great! Stop assuming every system feels the same. We aren't commenting on any 18+ topics with littles just because it hasn't really ever been much of a discussion in the system. But like, if a little is present in front it doesn't mean the others are just going to stop doing any mature things they were up to. At most the little will be taken away if they can't handle what everyone is doing

the day that people stop assuming created plurality is a forceful harmful thing done to yourself will be quite a wonderful day.

there's a reason people describe it as forming headmates instead of splitting them. force is not a requirement, especially forcing yourself beyond your limits.

created plurality can be quite a wonderful experience once you meet people on their own terms and their own perspective on their own experiences, instead of seeing created plurality through the perspective of a disorder.

you are fundamentally having a different conversation than what willomancers (like myself) are talking about when it comes to created plurality.

Just a reminder that mixed origin does NOT always mean traumaendo. There are 100% traumagenic mixed origin systems that define the different traumatic experiences that caused different alters to form separately and there are 100% endogenic mixed origin plurals that define the multiple different endogenic processes that created their headmates. And that's missing plenty of other experiences because so many fit under it. Don't assume when you see mixed origin that BOTH traumagenic and endogenic origins are present as that is NOT always accurate.

Not arguing with you here- 100% agree with you!!! Just wanted to share the other side too (sorry if it's derailing or smth ^^; feel free to delete this)

We made a post under the syscourse tag a while ago, fully with the awareness of being ok if anti endos were to interact RESPECTFULLY (we are pro endo and our post showed us expressing our pro endo views, and we were talking about the want to have a TWO SIDED discussion rather than one or both sides plugging their ears)

We got one interaction from an anti endo, who laughed at us for our traumaendo label, said it was something stupid to call ourselves, and made no mention on what our actual post was about or any attempt to have a discussion

Yes, posting under the syscourse tag means those of opposing views can interact, but it doesn't mean they can actively make fun of the person for their views either??? It's a discussion and debate tag not a make fun of people tag 😐

First off I want to say I'm very sorry you had to deal with that.

There is definitely a line between debating and then just being an ass to be an ass. It's very frustrating to come into a post that wants a nice discussion and instead finding hateful words being thrown around instead.

You're doing it right by wanting to just have a chat about differences. Then there's the ones who come in spewing venom everywhere instead and then get mad when someone bites back to their take.

Tdlr: what you say is very true. Some people just use syscourse to be rude to people wanting genuine conversations and frame it as debate when it is far from that

Don't you just love when people use the syscourse tag but refuse to engage in healthy debate unless it's supporting their opinion or that they use dnis in the debate tag and get mad when someone interacts that's on said dni?

A lot of the non usual posters really seem to think syscourse is a warning tag instead of the debate tag. If you don't want debate, leave it out of the debate tag? Use the "#tw syscourse" tag instead on your post if you're so worried about people seeing it that don't want to perhaps. Or just... use the stance tags of what you're for? I'm sure they'd love to see it and agree with you if all you're looking for is validation on your opinion.

DNIs are useless in a tag for debate. The point is for others to come at you with their opinions and have a discussion whether or not it is in agreement with you. If you can't handle that, why post where the opposite side has direct access to it? How many times will this continue to be a problem? Probably forever unless the tag gets nuked one day for some reason.

would love it if some people didn't perpetuate the idea that anti endo system spaces are inherently good and safe while other system spaces aren't.

there's no system space that's safe, that's the harsh reality of the internet. everyone gets hurt everywhere.

We've got quite a few.

We tend to refer to the body as a separate entity "the vessel" like a spaceship. All about the space terms here.

We call alters who have fronted before astronauts for that reason and those who only work internally as control center workers.

Echo coined "anxiety nullifier" about herself because when she fronts she can just kind of "yeet the anxiety away" as we put it.

Then we have 3 types of fragment categories: formless fragments (basically blobs on nothingness that hold just one little memory and have nothing going for them; often end up fused to others pretty fast), blank slates (fragments with a generic form who just linger until they become "built" enough to function/gain an actual appearance), and fragments (alters who can function but are not "complete"). We also have "default splits" which are go-to forms the brain seems to choose when it needs to quick split a new alter for whatever reason and doesn't go through the full process it normally does (hence where we end up with like 30 fictive fragments)

on the topic of systems and plurals who make their own terminology to describe system experiences, i’m really interested in hearing what terms people have made for their own systems!

one i use a lot is “brainbody” to refer to issues that are my brain affecting my body without necessarily being a part. so if i take my adhd medicine and get stuck playing puzzle games on my phone, my brainbody is making me stay stuck!

i also use “part name but…” with a distinction after for when im blurry, this can take a lot of different forms. “cav but not cav” or “cav but doing the dishes” have been popping up a lot. sometimes its easier to self identify in reference to another part

“parrot” is a part that mimics trauma/abusers, and we have tricks for soothing them when things get bad. most of our parrots have calmed down significantly, and all parrot parts are referred to as parrots until they feel willing to self identify :)
